Is not in the best part of Springfield but safe enough for a quick bite as it is downtown. The food is the best and the prices are reasonable. The staff, however, speaks limited English but enough to understand your order and make fantastic recommendations. Staff is very proud and eager to educate you about their culture...very welcoming and friendly....
Though the Tuna was good as was the patacones. Tasty fresh and plentiful. The main was Red Snapper which was almost great. A little over cooked but in fairness ver tasty. The full fish was presented and we ate most of it. Great views and setting and well worth a visit. Expect to pay fine dining prices. Would have been 5 star but food was not fine dining quality. Good but overpriced.
There were a lot of Puerto Rican items on the menu (and interestingly all around this town) and I wasn't all that familiar with them so I sort of picked stuff randomly. The bartender was able to figure out what I wanted because I was pointing to the things we wanted. It was still so loud my wife and I could only communicate by texting each other on our phones. It made me laugh to think of people who complain about places being too noisy
