It was a great experience. The food was good and the waitress, Jennifer, was patient waiting a person from our party to arrive. Drinks were also good. They let us sit and visit for quite a while.

I always enjoy a Max restaurant, food and service are always very good. My only comment would be that I wish the entrees we had, the halibut and arctic char had a more substantial side rather than what seemed more liked garnish.

We were fortunate enough to have Cortney as our server. She was fabulous. Everything was beyond! Their French onion soup is amazing. The drinks are perfect. The fish and chips is amazing. What a great night!!! Thank you!!!

Price was what I was exciting for the quality and would be willing to pay for it again. Our server was attentive but, not hovering. My wife and I will absolutely be returning.

Dislikes- 1.Drink we ordered from their specialty cocktails list was not able to get it cause they were out of blood orange. 2. Ordered chicken parm and while the shells and sauce were delicious, the chicken parm was overly breaded and very dry. Had to ask for extra sauce just to eat it. 3. Got creamed spinach as a side that was extremely watery and nothing creamy about it. 4. Ordered Baltimore shrimp as app and while you got like 10-12 med shrimp we did not care for the dipping sauce. Likes-when we asked for sauce for the chicken cause it was dry, 2 managers stopped by to see what the problem was and apologize. Would have been nice if a discount would have been offered but appreciated the apology. Don't think we would go back.

Food was very good. Menu was varied and offered interesting options for all tastes. Ambiance was upscale pub-like. Excellent service. Friendly, accommodating without being intrusive in the least. Will definitely go back.
We dine there twice this week, as visitors to Springfield from Philadelphia PA. Loved everything about this place.

I really like Max's. Whenever we get to Springfield, we dine there. The staff and the food are outstanding. Our server went out of his way to obtain the "cheap yellow mustard" my husband asked for even going to a neighbor restaurant to get it for him. They were out of two of the meals that we had ordered, and the manager came out to apologize and then sent us some complimentary desserts. This restaurant never disappoints.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy tavern vibe that immediately made me feel at ease. But the real star of the show was the food - oh, the food! I ordered the signature burger, and it was cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and savory, and the portion was generous, to say the least. I also tried the sweet potato fries, which were crispy and addictive.
