The food is great! The little old lady is great! All the other black dudes just stare at you and make you feel like you don't belong. So f*** that. Racism isn't as dead as it should be. Im white and grew up in the south and absolutely love the culture! But if im paying your establishment how about faking that smile a bit for me until i leave. If i decide to go back.

Today, I purchased the smothered liver and onion dish. My sides, were macaroni and cheese and cabbage. The cabbage was good. The liver was tender. The macaroni and cheese was horrible. The cheese in the macaroni and cheese tasted rancid. The product was dry. I was really, really disappointed. I have had food from here in the past and it was tasty. But lately I have been disappointed.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. This place is a dump. I'm not even sure how they are still legally allowed to serve food. You couldn't pay me enough money in the world to eat here ever again. Service is horrible.

So for lunch/dinner today, it was chitterlings! Now you everyone knows you can't find it until thanksgiving or maybe Christmas. But thanks to Moms soul foods, they have it all the time. Upon entry there was a family seated eating their meal. I was happy to find everything ready to go! The food was amazing and if you enjoy soul food no matter what season this is the place to go. Now it wasn't busy upon entry so I was able to get my food right away! I will be back for the ribs!

Very clean place. All of the staff were friendly. The food looked delicious. I wanted to try more than what came with my food (1 meat and 2 sides) the staff was patient with me while I tried to make my selections. The food was the perfect temperature. Not too hot and definitely not cold. I was able to dive right in. Overall the food was good. I like a little more seasoning on my food. To me it was a little bland, everything except the chicken. My order consisted of baked chicken, rib tips, Mac n cheese, sweet potatoes, cabbage, and a piece of cornbread. Way too much food for me, I just wanted to try everything. Both meats seemed a little dry to me, the Mac n cheese top was cooked to hard to break with the plastic fork but it was good to eat. Sweet potatoes were the best. And the cabbage just needed salt and pepper. They had hot sauce on the table. I asked for salt and pepper. No salt today but I took some pepper. I'd definitely go back with my own seasonings. It's COVID so of course I didn't expect perfection. But I'm happy with my experience. You should try it too!!!

I try to spend my money within my community but it's places like this that make it so difficult. Ordered this meal through Ubereats and this is what they sent me. Only 3 of the 6 Items I ordered. They thing that was eatable in items I received was the peach cobbler. It was tasty until something hard and green resembling a booger was found in it. When the restaurant was called they played d*** and refused to acknowledge anything was wrong.

I appreciate they are on food delivery sites. But they're often out of items on the site so parts of my order have been cancelled more than once. The fried chicken is very good though.

Great!!!! Just what I was looking for!!! I had fried whiting with yams,collard greens and white rice!!! Cornbread was very good also....
Food not good greens have to much vinegar and pork chops have no taste and don’t let me start on the Mac n cheese smh

Soooooo good. This is a Sunday favorite of our family. Food is always fresh and super flavorful. I had them cater an event at the med school and everyone was practically licking their plates and fingers.One of the first spots we hot when lock down started.... Supreme comfort food!
