I was there on business, I had a delicious mahi-mahi Main course and great service experience at the bar. I met some amazing locals people. Next time I’m here for business in this area I’ll have dinner here again. ❤️

I had a great experience! The workers were nice and very helpful! They gave my boyfriend a card for his birthday I found that so lovely. It was our first time at the restaurant and i loved it. Cant wait to come back. Thank you guyss

Food came out cold or luke warm. Server was rude and we felt like he couldn't be bothered with our table. Host was very pleasant. Overall, very dissatisfied and won't be back

The service was terrible. We waited 15minutes before our server came to the table. It's never improved after that Weirder prime rib and had to cut it with a butter knife. Our server never returned until after we ate and then we sat there for 15-20 minutes waiting with our dirty dishes in front of us. The Caesar salad was horrible. I love Caesar salad but this was nothing like I have ever had. I will never return to this Max. I love the one in Avon, food is always excellent and so is the service I think I'll just stick to them

We love Max's and our “special event “ place to go. That being said, we had some issues with service... perhaps our waiters was new.. My dirty martini was sweet and cloudy.. sent back for redo( this was on bartender) Salads, appetizer came out at the same time as meals Needed to ask waiter a couple times for another drink Waiter did not ask if everything was ok ( again,new) The general manager and hostess were professional and attentive G We will go back... Manager did ask if there was anything he could do and we declined (perhaps he should have automatically comped dessert or drinks)

Very pricey for the quality of food. Family of 4 was over $300 with 2 drinks each for adults. Food was okay. Our waitress was outstanding. Pretty big seating area—they grouped all parties in one area, had plenty of room to spread the guests out a bit. Will not return.

Enjoyed a casual lunch with a friend. Great lunch menu with many options. Food was excellent along with the service. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The ambience is true pub and the location is very convenient. A gem in the Max Family of restaurants.

Ribeye was underwhelming and overcooked perhaps because there was a wine week special and somewhat busy but the steak was not the pre fix offering although it appeared to be small and well done (medium rare order). The others had filets and those were cooked right and looked good...so 2 for 3

We were in the restaurant for over 2 hours and the dirty table next to us was never bussed. The hostess actually let someone sit.there and brought menus and never took the dirty dishes away. After waiting 10inutes with no server they left. When e brought this to our servers attention.she said oh I have neen busy and have no busser. She had time to chit chat with other servers and spend LOTS of time chatting with the couple of bar customers but you l can't bus the table. very poor management and lack of ownership/accountability They sure.dont make wait staff like they used....speaking as a former waitress and bartender.

Great food and drink. Our waitress was exceptional. Always a favorite place for business lunch. Only down point was the delivery of the appetizer. Kitchen guy walked by the table and just said crab cakes and basically dropped them on the edge of the table and walked away. Other than that brief nonencounter it was great.

We go to Max's Tavern twice a year. We loved the old menu before Covid. Our waitress was terrific. The lady's bathroom is a mess. The second stall did not flush. The handicap stall had something sticky like tape on the toilet seat and the toilet seat was very loose. Clean and functioning restrooms are very important to customers.

Table of 5. Restaurant was not at all crowed but they sat us right by the door, not appreciated. New waiter had great difficulty opening a bottle of wine leaving a significant amount of cork in the wine. My ribeye was overcooked and tough. The amount of onion jam on the asparagus was overwhelming. Overall not a good experience

Great food! Great service! I took my husband here for his birthday and he didn't want dessert to my disappointment but the manager went out of her way to have the staff sign a birthday card in lieu of the dessert! So thoughtful - every visit is always exceptional- the trust in consistency makes us frequent diners.

Super, super slow. Waited 5-8 to be greeted with our reservation. Lexi did the best he could....bar service was so slow...We noted on our reservation that we were celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary and it was never acknowledged. Again, Lexi was an amazing server and we felt that the food was good.

Very mediocre for prices of a “real” steakhouse Waitress did not know if a Chianti wine was “red or white”. We were given 1/4 lemon (1) for shrimp and oyster player. Avoid.
