What a great find while in the Springfield area. Sat right at the counter right in front of chef window and the working jukebox. Lots for friendly chatter all around. Definitely some regulars which is always a great reason to be optimistic about the food. My partner got the corn beef hash and eggs. I got the egg special with the cheese. Waitresses were all very pleasant. And the chef made sure that I knew it was a spicy cheese. Both meals were plentiful and delicious. Definitely will be back next time in area.

I ordered an omelette...in which I'm normally not impressed with but was pleasantly surprised that it was delicious! Possibly better than I've ever made. The place gives you that authentic old Western Route 66 vibe! Best in Springfield.....
