Wonderful greasy spoon hiding next to a gas station in Springfield. Stopped in for breakfast, my party had a bagel with ham and cream cheese, a western sandwich and the western omelette plate. Food was served fresh off the griddle and was perfectly tasty. Staff is attentive and good natured, service is prompt and the food is top notch at a great value. Will be back on future trips to the area.
It was a good price for a bagel of cream cheese and French toast with ham and eggs and two small coffees. We waited about 8 minutes for our food to come. The coffee was good and they served it to us right away.
I’ve been a customer of Jess since she was at the original white hut in West Spfld. She runs this place with style and grace and the food is A-1. Everything is always fresh and hot! The place is always packed which should tell you something. I’ve moved away but when I come home to visit this is my GO TO spot for good quality breakfast!
