Food was very good. A bit of a pain to get to the place due to road construction on the main road leading to it (at the time of this review). But that's not their fault.

A memorable and relaxing experience in a truly historic setting. Located in the heart of the Eastern States Exposition grounds, Storrowton Tavern offers classic New England charm inside an 18th-century building with rich colonial-era roots. You can really feel the history as you dine—wood-paneled walls, creaky floors, and antique decor that gives the whole experience a warm, authentic character.

We ordered the Grilled Chicken Alfredo and the Corned Beef Reuben, both of which were well-prepared and satisfying. But the surprise highlight was the Cheeseburger Soup—comforting, hearty, and full of flavor. Highly recommend trying it if it’s on the menu.

Desserts were equally delightful: we tried the raspberry-drizzled layer cake and the massive cream puff with sprinkles and hot fudge. Both were fun finishes to the meal.

Service was friendly and unrushed, and everything from the bread basket to the final bite felt thoughtful and welcoming. A great spot for anyone looking to enjoy a meal in a setting that feels like stepping back in time—without compromising flavor or comfort. We'll be back!

Very expensive and didn't seem worth the price. Prime rib wasn't very flavorful. They put a square table and a round table together for all of us instead of two square tables, very awkward sitting like that. Tables couldn't be leveled, even with shims and napkins from the staff while we were sitting at the table. Had to wait for them to set up the tables, even with reservations. We went for a combined birthday dinner and unfortunately all 8 of us got sick for 1 to 5 days after. Doubt I will go back. Our waitress was nice. Bathrooms are uncomfortable, located under a staircase, not that great for tall people.

Noon reservations for Easter brunch buffet. Our table was ready when we arrived, no wait. A vast assortment of food, all very good. Hostess and waitstaff were very pleasant and attentive.

We eat here maybe 6 times a year and have always been happy. Ate there tonight and I got the special swordfish and it was very fishy tasting and hard. I couldn't eat it. I told the waitress and she gave me a free dessert. Will be back but will never get swordfish again

We had a wonderful experience at Storrowton Tavern. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The holiday decorations added such a cozy, festive touch that made the visit even more enjoyable.

The carolers were absolutely amazing and truly enhanced the experience. They did a fantastic job, and their beautiful voices added so much holiday cheer to the evening.

Our server, Nico, did an exceptional job. He was always attentive, professional, and handled our large group with ease. Even while managing multiple orders for us on top of attending to other tables he never missed a beat. His organization and positive attitude truly stood out and made our dining experience stress-free and enjoyable.

We couldn’t have asked for better service and look forward to coming back again.

Never a dull moment at Christmas time. We had our mother's 80th birthday 🎂 recently. Michelle and her staff were so accommodating. The food was amazing 👏
