This is a great place for meeting for coffee or checking out local music, poetry and art. I've been coming regularly to the Friday night performances and they make sure to support local artists and musicians, which is so hard to come by these days. They also support budding talent - also hard to come by! I recommend the espresso, breakfast sandwiches, and the rum punch ?

The owner David is always making sure that everything is local and from the community! He’s always ensuring that the ingredients in the food and drinks are supporting local businesses and farms. As well as bringing together artists, comedians, poets, and musical performers every weekend! This place is a hidden gem of Springfield and Dave is a legend for running it the way he does!Tell your friends!

A calm and cozy coffee shop. So quiet for being on a busy road. Food and coffee was great!

I recently visited the Artist Cafe, a small and vibrant (Black owned) establishment in downtown Springfield. The cafe impressed me with its extensive menu options and I opted for the sausage egg and cheese croissant, which was incredibly delicious. The service was prompt and the added bonus of available WiFi made it an even more enjoyable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend the Artist Cafe for a delightful meal.

Food is a bit bland BUT, the portion was great! Young man who brought my food out could've been a bit more friendly but maybe next time. Ladies serving were helpful and pleasant. Nice spot to chill and enjoy some coffee.

Cozy, relaxed café. The breakfast sandwich was the best I’ve ever had anywhere! I ordered a shaken espresso, which was better than the Starbucks versions. I’d suggest they add a brown sugar flavor as several customers asked for it. I heard their iced vanilla chai is good too.

I only had a Cappachino with cream and hazelnut, and I was impressed. As I love coffee . And no one in Springfield has impressed me with theirs. But they did . Although I could it have been hotter, it was delicious. Thanks. I will be back soon.

Was really cozy and the hot chocolate is amazing, but despite ordering a large I feel I only got half the cup because the rest was filled with whipped cream. Whipped cream was nice, but it shouldn’t take away as much hot chocolate as it did. Other than that though, this place is great!
