got take out lunch plates on a sunday afternoon...
Plates were about $15 with 1 appetizer so definitely pricey for what's have rice. It was still hot after a short drive home and tasty with foog sized portion (which was only right given the price point).
Go ahead and grub i'm sure you'll be satisfied.
The food was hot, ready, and delicious. The customer service was fantastic. And Miss Jaime was very sweet and patient. Definitely coming back when I travel back north.
The food is delicious and affordable. It's a great option for a quick bite to eat.

While Sunrise House may have a reputation for being a good eatery, my recent dining experience fell short of expectations. The food, while edible, lacked the depth of flavor I anticipated. The rice was dry and bland, and the meat seemed overcooked, resulting in a dry and chewy texture. There were no crab to be found imitation or otherwise to be found in the crab rangoons, just a tasteless cream cheese center. Unfortunately, the prices seemed disproportionate to the quality of the food, leaving me feeling somewhat disappointed.

Beef teriyaki was excellent— very tender, juicy, and flavorful. We ordered chicken combo plates which comes with pork fried rice. The rice wasn’t very flavorful, but unlike other places it was not greasy. General Gau’s did not have any spice to it even though it’s labeled as spicy and we asked for it to be extra spicy. We also got the sesame chicken which was very good. We ordered the food and it was ready within 20 mins. Pick up was easy. Drove 15 mins home and the food was still very hot and both chicken dishes still had its crisp (crunch)! the boneless spareribs were a bit tough, but it was still good. The egg rolls has pork in them. While it tasted like it was frozen rather than fresh (either ordered or homemade and then frozen), the egg roll was not oily and maintained a light crisp.
We got crab rangoons as a coupon for ordering $40+ and it was very good. Not oily/greasy, has flavor, lightly crispy and not too hard/too crunchy. We’ll definitely be back.

NEVER GO HERE!! Wish I can give it 0 stars! Food is horrible! Lady at front desk is so rude! Saw mice and bugs roaming around the kitchen. So many healthcode violations! Worst Chinese place in town
