While Sunrise House may have a reputation for being a good eatery, my recent dining experience fell short of expectations. The food, while edible, lacked the depth of flavor I anticipated. Beef teriyaki was excellent— very tender, juicy, and flavorful. We ordered chicken combo plates which comes with pork fried rice. The rice wasn’t very flavorful, but unlike other places it was not greasy. General Gau’s did not have any spice to it even though it’s labeled as spicy and we asked for it to be extra spicy. We also got the sesame chicken which was very good. We ordered the food and it was ready within 20 mins. Pick up was easy. Drove 15 mins home and the food...
Surprisingly good for an austere shop. My daughter was singing her praises of it last week and dragged the rest of the family in. Her favorite is the beef and broccoli combo. My son enjoyed his shrimp fried rice and is not easily pleased.The portions are generous, and the vegetable lo mein I had was delightful and filling.We will be back again, I am sure!
