Excellent menu for both meals and drinks. Good location, great staff.
In the past this place was of much higher quality and presentation. For our anniversary dinner my wife ordered lamb chops with chimichurri sauce and French fries with aoli. But when the plate arrived everything including the thin asparagus was dripping in aoli. Too bad. We used to love coming here but I guess times are changing. Oh well…
The daily special Frittata was a little bland in taste. Two of us had it and agreed it was a little disappointing. Otherwise, the food was 5 stars and the attention we received from the delightful greeter and waiter was excellent.
Great dinner outside under their awning. Shrimp special was delicious as was the tenderloin. Enjoyed the spicy cauliflower and flourless chocolate cake as well.
My sweet husband threw me a surprise birthday party and Bullfinches didn’t disappoint! The food the service, the staff and the ambiance was extraordinary! Thank you!
This was our first visit to Bullfinch's and it will not be our last. Excellent food and service in a nice atmosphere offing protected outside and inside seating. A nice touch is the option for different portion sizes on many entrees. Our meals were well prepared and with interesting sauces. Save room for desserts.
Our brunch was outstanding! We were trying a new restaurant that got great reviews but this exceeded our expectations. There was a jazz band playing background music and the food and drinks were excellent. Great service, too!
We are new to the area and just picked Bullfinch's on a whim. Good choice! Very nice ambiance, great food, fantastic service! We had the Osso Bucco and the salmon ... both were wonderful. Excellent spot for a celebratory/special occasion dinner.
Hadn't been in a long time and it didn't disappoint!
Bullfinch's has a wonderful atmosphere, cozy, friendly with wonderful wait staff and delicious food. It is a gem and I wish we had the like in my neighborhood. It is always a treat to be able to have dinner here.
Restaurantji Recommends
Pros:
- free pastries for brunch, including muffin, cinnamon cake, and scones
- cinnamon french toast was excellent
Cons:
- egg was not poached perfectly in crab benedict and salad was over dressed & not on the side (maybe intentional but too overdressed for me to love it)
would definitely go again
Nice place - First time visiting - Great food and ambiance
The food is absolutely delicious, you are missing out if you don’t come in try this place ! I highly recommend the chicken piccata, the salmon, and the short ribs! The brunch is also to die for!
We make these comments respectfully . All in all a good experience, with this one exception. We have to agree with an earlier reviewer who spoke of the tuna...disappointing and this was the main course for a couple of us. The tuna was difficult to cut, quite firm in texture, connective tissue. Other appetizers and entrees were enjoyed. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable.
We love their outdoor dining experience. Service was excellent. Food was fantastic (I had the duck). And the prices are lower than most places we dine.
