Love the ambience. Italian with a twist: Masala ravioli. This visit a somewhat indifferent waiter and food was very salty, but still love it. Great cocktails.
I rarely write reviews nor feel a need to commemorate such a breathtaking restaurant experience until now. Da Vinci Bistro is what I would call a hidden gem. There's a running joke in my family about how we have yet to find a "10" that checks all the boxes when it comes to food, taste, experience, ambience, etc. pertaining to a restaurant experience. Look no further, after our very first visit to Da Vinici Bistro (first of many to come) -> it is the first restaurant that I can finally call a "10" (10/10 experience) I have ever had! The food, ambience, house staff, etc. were absolutely SPECTACULAR and outwardly ASTONISHING!!! Words simply do not do it justice. From the moment we walked in, it became blatantly clear that there was a plethora of detail, thought, and passion put into every ounce of the place from it's gourmet food all the way to the eye-catching artwork on the walls. We started with the most decadent arancini appetizer which included a unique twist of being served on an elegant wooden cutting board with prosciutto and arugula complimenting what tasted like a homemade tomato sauce. This seemed to establish the foundation of modern-spins on eloquent, custom dishes with each meal after the next only peaking in fortitude and taste. For the entree we had the Vitello Saltimbocca and custom tortellini which embodied a unique spin that included shrimp, capers, and an orange zest sauce. Finally, the cherry on top and by far the best thing I may have ever tasted in my life was the fresh-out-of-the-oven homemade strawberry-blueberry cobbler that was worth every second of the 20 minute bake time it required for the made-to-order status. All in all from the ambience including unique lighting + a modern, yet cozy seating and feel; an outstanding waitress who was so kind and possibly the most attentive, hard-working waitress I've ever met; to every bite of spectacular food that painted a beautiful portrayal showcasing utter love, passion, care and exquisite attention to detail + flavor profile with every item that was thoughtfully curated by a very talented chef + cook team. I 200% recommend this hidden gem to any and all and we most definitely will return for many meals to come! Thank you.

This is our neighbourhood goto dining spot. The food is excellent, there are always new items on the menu as well as daily specials. The staff are friendly, professional and courteous. The chef has clear command of the kitchen and when he has a moment, loves to greet and chat with guests. We'll keep coming back for more!

Pleasant surprise. Tables are a bit close together, but it was still easy to have conversations without distractions. Chef coming to the table was a nice touch. My veal chop was terrific. Everyone enjoyed their food.

I recommended this restaurant to my brother and sister in law (visiting from the UK and celebrating their wedding anniversary). They absolutely loved it. My husband and I subsequently got a take out from the related Indian restaurant which wasn’t great (reviewed separately).

Dinner started off well with a nice glass of Cab and arancini as an appetizer. We ate out on the patio which was lovely except for a couple of pesky flies. A pleasant gentleman, Gilberto, who was not our waiter, brought out the salmon dish for my husband and a dish that I did not order, beef tenderloin. I informed him that I ordered the bolognese. He and I looked at a print out with the incorrect tenderloin for our table. The woman behind me said she ordered the tenderloin. He took both dishes away to the kitchen. We were seated on the patio outside the doors to the main dining room and kitchen. There was a lot of confusion going on about what happened with the mix up. Food was coming out and going back in. The couple behind us had to reorder his risotto. After sometime, my husband's salmon and my bolognese were delivered along with the tenderloin to the other table. The lady behind us even asked if this was the tenderloin that has come out of the kitchen three times. Her husband was informed that the risotto would be along soon and his meal and a dessert would be complimentary. My bolognese came out so piping hot that after one bite and a quick swig of wine to cool things down, I waited to take another bite. The chef came out to check on us, which was so nice, but I hadn't had a chance to try it again because it was so hot. Unfortunately after he left and it cooled down, the pasta was so undercooked. I enjoy al dente pasta, but my rigatoni was probably rushed to get it out while the salmon dish was kept warm. Our waiter probably thought everything was ok since the chef came out, plus I think he was embarrassed about the mix up, but he didn't address my full dish which was off to the side of the table. Gilberto inquired if something was wrong. I informed him that the pasta was undercooked. My husband was finished with his meal at this point. The waiter came over and said, "I'm sorry". I believe he was sincere, but it was all he said. He went across the restaurant and watched us as we were leaving. We let the manager know about the meal on the way out.
He also apologized and said he would have a new bolognese made for us. It was such a nice gesture and he was so kind about it, but the thought of having something like that again and it being so late was not appealing at all. I should have asked for a different dish or maybe even a $25 gift card, which would have been less than the bolognese to come back again, but did not think of it in the moment. I will say that Gilberto and the manager left a good impression. They were not responsible for the mistake with the order and the undercooked food. I would have rated lower, but believe this was an unusual situation and the staff here really seem to care about positive dining experiences.

Came in today with the family, and we were admittedly quite impatient. The host was so incredibly articulate and she made our culinary experience ten times better. Highly recommend Emily, she is phenomenal at her job and we will come back!!
Great food! One of our favorite restaurants in the area. Highly recommend.

We got the 6 apps option: arancini, mussels, fried goat cheese, calamari, burrata, and eggplant rollatini. The food was delicious, and we even got to talk to the chef. I can't wait to go again.

Had a wonderful meal there on Sunday, Mother's Day. Pepino is the man! The friendly servers were a great match to the terrific food. We go to this place maybe once a year and we hav never been disappointed.

Had dinner here recently on a Saturday night, got the eggplant app and rigatoni with meat sauce entree. Neither dish was anything special, the eggplant tasted like something I could find at the frozen food section of Trader Joe's. The starter bread would have been better off with a nice olive oil, instead of a dry crumble cheese they offer. It was also cold and loud inside, and I think the seating is way too close together.
Had a wonderful meal this past Saturday night. Delicious food, great service and in an always-cozy environment. But our meal ended on a sour note. Our party of 6 had gratuity automatically added to our check without any heads up from the server (nor any mention to this policy on Da Vinci's website). So we tipped on top of the automatic gratuity and didn't realize until we got home and took a closer look at the total. I was under the impression that when tip is automatically added that servers would give you the courtesy of a heads up. Put a sour ending on an otherwise great meal.

Everything was GREAT! You absolutely should set-up a reservation; we made one for 4:30P and the place was about 80% filled within 30-45 minutes. We went with the boat to try several entrees (photo didn't come out but you can see some in the tortellini pic). No complaints on anything. We enjoyed the dim atmosphere, quick service, and grabbed some desserts to go. Best cannolis I've had!*Tortellini pic (at the top) has some of the boat entrees we got. We went with the salmon and chicken parm in addition to the tortellini and lasagna.
