This was our first time at Paani and we were very pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere. We had the garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and the chicken making khas. The food was very tasty. We'll definitely be back.

Paani Indian Cuisine in Sudbury is a shining example of how traditional culinary heritage can be beautifully adapted to meet American standards while preserving the most valuable and precious flavors of Indian cuisine. This restaurant skillfully blends the bold, often intense spices of Indian cooking into more accessible, yet still distinctly flavorful dishes that are perfect for non-native guests.
I admired their courage in making these adjustments without losing the essence of what makes Indian food so special. Our dinner was not only delightful in taste but also in the atmosphere, which was warm and inviting. The staff were knowledgeable and respectful of our privacy, allowing us to fully enjoy our meal in a relaxed setting.
The shared entrées and main courses were executed to perfection, with each dish offering a taste that faithfully represented traditional Indian flavors without being overwhelming. On this occasion, our group didn’t include anyone of Indian origin, so there was no debate over the spiciness or lack thereof - just a unanimous appreciation of the balanced, delicious food.
Though I don’t claim to be an expert in Indian cuisine, I consider myself a devoted enthusiast, much like many others. For me, Paani stands out as one of the best places to experience authentic-tasting Indian food in a modern, warm, and guest-focused environment.

Buffet style. Not a fan of buffets. Trying to order and eat was tough as they were a little pushy with the buffet. Gave us a plate and walked away without saying anything. Ten minutes later they hadn’t come back to take our order so we walked out.

The naan and roti were good. The Hara daniya paneer appetizer was great. The vegetarian entree is okay , could be better. Overall had an average experience.

Got doordash chicken tikka masala, mango lassi, and plain naan. Not to be dramatic but this was the best version of all 3 that I’ve ever had, and I’ve gone to a lot of indian restaurants for a young white dude. Possibly even some of the best food I’ve ever had. I will be back.

We had high hopes for Paani after hearing rave reviews, but our visit left much to be desired.
The chili mushroom, touted for its flavor, turned out overly tangy, masking any other potential taste. The lamb kebab, unfortunately, lacked the expected tenderness, which was a letdown. My order of biryani was underwhelming as well; the rice seemed devoid of salt, missing the crucial balance of flavors.
The food failed to impress, and coupled with subpar service, we left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return anytime soon. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend it at this time.

For delivery, don't forget rice. This place is my new favorite spot for delivery Indian food in the area. The lamb chops and onion chutney are better than incredible. Honestly, the best onion chutney I've had in the States. The buffet was pretty decent. Not sure I'd go back for that though. And not sure where I went wrong when ordering online, but two entrées came without any rice.

Very happy with the service and atmosphere. Nice place to dine in.
The food quantity was an issue. It was very less and also the laccha parantha tasted stale. Rest all was ok.

Got take out here- very nice place but the depth of flavor is not there. Korma is meh as well as other dishes. I’ve had much better in So. NH (as well as other parts of the world lol).

The overall experience with the restaurant is very good, had a good service, and the food was tender, cooked well and tasting hot. How after the ambience can be improve a little bit, and the appetizer menu selection could also be improved. Overall, this restaurant was very good the good service how ever how ever many items can be a little crazy at times and do not come here if you were on a budget. Prices are high and proportions aren’t representative of the prices
