A GREAT Hot Dog and a cool and tasty Italian Ice. Fresh, soft buns for the dogs with a huge assortment of fixings. I selected a half and half Ice of Strawberry and Watermelon. The strawberry was refreshing and delicious but was NOT sickly sweet. The Watermelon was wonderful and did not have that chemical taste that so many watermelon-flavored products have. Although my kids have been here plenty of times, today was my first visit. Mike was friendly and helpful, and checked in throughout the meal to offer cups of water, see whether we needed anything else, and even share a flyer with coupons. As we sat and ate I watched him interact with adult and child visitors, and he was kind and welcoming to everyone. Fast becoming a destination stop, Chef Mike really has a 'golden" touch for this type venue. The hot dogs are great and the Italian Ice is superb - try the chocolate and cherry, That said, my favorite feature is the atmosphere - it's just plain fun and relaxing. Try it!
