Superb service and absolutely 10/10 food
We had the pleasure of eating here for our anniversary and everything about this special place was outstanding! We started with salads and tomato pie, excellent... our server was warm and professional with a great eye for detail. Our entrees were excellent, I had scallops with lentils and they were perfectly seasoned and delicious. We were delightfully full, but had to try the chocolate lava cake... again, the best we have tasted. The drive was 45 mins from our home and worth every minute. This place should have many Michelin Stars. We will return :)

Really good food, everything we had was great and the service was very good as well. We arrived a half hour before our reservation but they were able to get us a table. It’s pricey but worth it

Food was decent but I think the high reviews are just because western mass is starved for nice restaurants
Food, Service, and Atmosphere are all top-notch. Most in our party had the catch of the day: seared ahi tuna that was outstanding!

Service, drinks, etc were amazing as usual like the last 4x we’ve been. The scallops were the weak link. Drenched in the sauce, sweet and the bacon lentils overly salty. IMO excellent scallops don’t need sauces on top, like allot of sauce. If the scallops were placed on top of the sauce, then 5/5. This isn’t cheap sushi, let the protein speak for itself, sauce secondary. Coconut cheese cake was 10/10
Don't waste your money or time here, the owner doesn't want you.

I visited the restaurant this weekend for a birthday dinner. The folks were so kind, attentive and adaptive so we could have a little celebration. The service was wonderful. I also have a lot of food allergies. They have several menu options that are marked gluten free and veggie friendly, and when I mentioned my allergies they were very accommodating. I had their fish and chips special, others in our party had the salmon, the butcher block, and the scallops. It all tasted amazing! The cocktails were also wonderful and they had the creamiest berry sorbet for dessert.

We came to celebrate a birthday and we were not disappointed. From the minute we arrived we were treated wonderfully. BJ got us seated and was so friendly and helpful throughout our time. Our waiter, Tom was very helpful and provided great service. The drinks were good, nice wine selection, and everyone loved their meals. It was a really nice atmosphere.
Dietary restrictions: There was plenty of gluten free options even though they don't mark them on the menu.

We have been twice and each time we are so happy we chose the Blue Heron. Yesterday was my birthday and we had John as our server. He was SO great. His poetic descriptions of the menu options were amazing. He brought the foods to us before we even ordered. The food flavors were some of the best we have ever had. Goodness how we love this place ??.
