Bubs has always been no frills. No frills does not turn me off. This place has changed drastically. No more soup. The soup was always so great. The food in general. Terrible. The sides? No more fries , no more homemade sides. Just dump a jar of pickled veggies in the bin.Everything was empty. Was it busy? hell no. Dead. I ordered a fried fish sandwich. It used to be great. This time…. Fried fish on bread. No lettuce, no tomatoes, no cheese. Dry bread with fried fish on a flimsy paper plate.The service…. We eat out a lot and are big tippers. This gal….. we must have been bothering her. No smile no emotion, no thanks. She is capable because she was then socializing with “ the cook” and laughing with him.The cook… must be a mechanic by day. Hands filthy. Handling food then playing on his phone, then cleaning dishes. All over with those filthy hands.I am by no means a high maintenance girl. I can live in a tent, and survive in the woods. This place…. What happened to it?

Very casual. Comfortable setting, free jukebox, food is smoked and grilled right in front of you. Delicious and you won't leave hungry!Kid-friendliness: Smoked half chicken too. Very kid friendly.

This is a place where the sides steal the show. What a luxury not to have to beg for more Cole slaw halfway through. Loved the all you can eat side bar. Really delicious.

Not the same bubs! The girl that took our order was not welcoming at all. Made us feel uncomfortable and bothering. Not friendly at all. Tables were not clean they were sticky and not even wiped off. The meat was ok but the sides were terrible. Some bins were empty and what was there looked like they have been in the bin all day. The old bub's had much more options and always had a replenished FRESH supply They would always have fries and would constantly add more to the bin. The bin with the baked beans was just juice and barely any beans in it. It will not be an option to go there anymore.

Solid 4 or 4.5 star. The atmosphere isn’t the best, but the main dishes make up for it. The sides are good, and the potato crisps are heavenly if you eat them within 30 minutes of them being made. Otherwise, they aren’t as good but the sides are buffet style. The Kielbasa Link sausages are incredible, but ribs are kind of dry, so add bbq sauce. Price was pretty reasonable, would recommend going here.

What a disappointment, not the bubs it used to be, not one car in the lot on a saturday night. New owners changed all the recipies. Potatoes were sold out even though there was no one in the restaurant, greens were terrible . Such a shame, bubs used to be such a treat.
