Stopped by for some lunch on our way to visit Rhode Island, and I'm really glad we did! The spot stands out in the older town of Swansea. The decor has a modern feel still with some charming touches. Our server was very welcoming and friendly. I couldn't decide between the mushtoom pasta and the steak frites, so he recommended that I add steak to the pasta to make it more filling. I took the recommendation and it was soooo good, the steak and mushrooms made the pasta so savory and hearty without feeling too heavy. My sister had the half-chicken and it was taking a short while, but I appreciated our server coming by with updates on the meal to assure us that it was being prepared properly. I'm not sure if I'll be back in the area anytime soon, but if I am, I'll be sure to drop by again!

Great food! I'd rather pay a few extra dollars for quality food. It's a pretty place but wish they had more booths and a little more privacy in between the tables. Granted it's a fairly small restaurant....Other than that it's great. Food is fantastic.
Parking: There wasn't one single parking space but it's because it's such a busy place every night they're open! I parked on the sidewalk lol

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel like I’ve been there enough times now to leave an honest and thorough review. The town needs more places like this. It has a small town feel with a really unique menu, and a totally cozy atmosphere. We’ve sat at both the bar, and in the dining room and both were great. The staff are always friendly and attentive, and you can really see the difference of a family owned small business vs a chain. Might you pay a dollar or two more for a similar item? Yes. In my opinion it’s worth it, and I would skip a chain twice to be able to enjoy myself at this place once- you pay a few more dollars, and you get….better tasting, higher quality, creative dishes + quality service by friendly and seasoned staff who seem happy to be there. Apps are also great, beer is cold, the craft drinks always look like they belong on a Boston bar menu. I’ve never been for brunch, but plan to change that soon. Try the sweet potato/black bean burger, and thank me later ✌🏼
