Loved the bakery for years!! Best meat and salmon pies in the Massachusetts and Rhode Island area. Too bad they have apparently gone out of business. 😥
Unfortunately I can’t eat a single thing here because I have celiac disease and allergic to pork. But my husband has been going here ever since he was born and he thinks it’s the best bakery in the whole world. It has a very authentic feel. They go home to Portugal for a good chunk of the year, so just make sure that it’s open before you drive. But I actually respect the fact that they have a balance between their professional life and their personal life. We make sure to stop and get my husband a special treat every time we’re in town.
when are you going to reopen?
Every time i been here every thing was amazing delicious from pies to pasties and bread ,I hope they open soon for Thanksgiving
they fail to inform customers about dates after vacations.
I go here every weekend for my cream donuts and they are amazing

The pastries speak for themselves; absolutely delicious! The lines are out the door and worth the wait if the woman changes her gloves. She was very friendly but I watched her give change with her gloves on the proceed to grab pastries after handling cash. 😩

I'll start of by saying the pastries at this bakery are very delicious. The sandwiches are amazing as well. Doughnuts are out of this world. The negative is the customer service is terrible. The older ladies who were serving customers were pleasant, but there was a young server no more than 16 who was absolutely awful. She has zero customer service skills. She actually rolled her eyes at customers. Never even cracked a smile or offered a polite greeting. She was rushing and dismissive and it really ruined my experience at this bakery. I would go back but just wait for another server.

Wonderful pastries. Very reasonably priced, Great sweet bread. Only one person serving, however, and many people waiting. Cheerful worker behind the counter. Takeout only.
Kid-friendliness: Great choices for kids.

I love supporting local, but do not buy a sandwich from here unless you want to spend the rest of the day puking. I bought a sandwich a couple weekends ago, it tasted fermented, probably from sitting on the shelf behind the cash register for 4 days without refrigeration. Not to mention you’ll be stuck in line for 40 minutes. Horrible service, spoiled meat, and mediocre pastries. Go elsewhere!!!!
You guys are the best! I needed dessert to bring to a friend’s event last minute and they came through last minute for me with TWO cakes. The whole party raved about both cakes and asked where I got them. I hope this business keeps booming!
