Kent's Restaurant

Love this place! Their dinners are both affordable and delicious. Fish and Chips are top notch. Lobster Saute is my personal favorite. Staff is friendly as well. Definitely worth your time.

We love Kent's. The food is always good. Red clam chowder without carrots. Lots of clam and well cooked potatoes. Great stuffies, the seafood is always fresh and served hot. The service is friendly, not in your face but available. Nice place to have a meal.

Nice little spot I visited as a pit stop for lunch during a road trip to Providence. Portuguese-American food, waitress was very sweet and attentive, clean dining area. Good food; incredible onion rings!

I placed an order to be picked up at the restaurant. The server who provided me my to go order was pleasant and upbeat. I wish I had gotten her name. However that's when things Took a turn. After getting home, changed after a long day of work and comfortable we realize that the order was incorrect. I contacted the restaurant and after explaining my situation was told I needed to hold on. I then explained again my situation to a gentleman who said they would credit me for the missing items up on my next visit. However that made my meal incomplete so I requested that I come and pick up the item. At no time was any offer made to make the situation right. Furthermore while standing at the lounge area waiting for the missing item, I was able to look into the kitchen. This is where I saw the cook breaking board of health regulations. He was using his naked hands to handle ready to eat food. He also used his dirty apron to wipe down a plate that was on its way to a table. When I brought the matter to the manager camo who is sitting at the bar with a cocktail, I was told sorry. There was no empathy there was no effort to compensate for my troubles. I will think twice about ever coming here again or recommending it again.

I normally don't review restaurants but after the meal and service my mother and I just received from Heidi at Kent's Restaurant I literally have to give it five stars! The atmosphere was chilly (near the window, in the middle of winter) but so comfy. The food was mind-blowing, seriously! My mom had Chicken Parmesan, I had Bourbon Steak Tips and we actually shared our plates because they were both SO DELICIOUS and had to try each others dish. So yes, the food was amazing but, back to the service, because that's a huge deciding factor with us.... And 🙌 thank goodness for Heidi! Although it looked like she was the only server that was busy (likely the one on closing shift) she was attentive, quick and enjoyable! I worked in this industry for many, many years and I'm very critical when it comes to service. I know what needs to be done and the timing that it needs to be done in and I must say, Heidi killed it with everything! So thank you Heidi for your service and the chef's in the kitchen. We will spread the good word and we will be back with more family and friends to share your great food and service with!
