I'm pretty sure I just ate the best Bifana I've ever had! Incredible. Will be getting more take out!

Waiter was on her phone to much nice to know we have to pay 7 dollars for 2 cans of soda when the price is no where on menu ?

Food sucked. Was WAY overpriced. Waitress told me the soup was made of cow when I asked what was in it. 30$ for two soups, two salads, and CANNED sodas! Not even in a cup! I’m surprised we even got straws and utensils. No dressing for the salad, and the olives in it were pitted. If I could give it zero stars I would.

First time. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent food. Robust menu. Friendly service. Generous portions. Authentic Azorean cuisine. Looking forward to returning often.

Since it changed ownership it just hasn’t been the same. The quality in meat has gone downhill bad. Got a steak sandwich and couldn’t even take one bite it was so chewy.

Got the chourica and pepper sandwich and it is so delicious that I ordered it 3 times in the past week. I cant get enough of it.

I’ve stopped here for lunch a few times. Always ordered something different each time to try and all this menu choices have been delicious! The Portuguese burger is my favorite!

I come here quite often and it is pretty consistently great Portuguese food. Last visit though I had a bad experience and writing this review in hopes that the owners will take some customer feedback.Ordered my usual stake sandwich. Great taste, however, the steak was so incredibly chewy and poor quality that I couldn't even eat it. I had to spit it out and throw the whole thing away.I resorted to eating my wife's cacoila sandwich which was also sub-par. Not on portuguese bread but instead a low-quality white roll that made the sandwich taste like cafeteria food. Please use higher quality steak for the sandwiches even if it means charging more. Also, use portuguese pops for the cacoila sandwich

Missing John but still a great place Maria is very kind the food is very delicious I like the variety and the quality of each dish. Cacoila is sometimes dry but other than that no complaints I visit here often when I’m in the area and will be returning again soon …

This is the second time I ordered food from here and they are consistent with quality, quantity and on time service.

Place changed ownership and everything went downhill....I bought a steak sandwich and couldn't even bite in to it......horrible....trew it in the trash.....Caravella in fall river is 100x better.

Picture shows my review from over a year ago... Been coming here since they were in the mall. They were a great married team that took pride in their business..Went 2 days ago...I walk in and the TV is blaring a kids show. There is a young girl sitting at the counter being watched by the cashier. But I believe she is the cook's daughter because of the interactions. I knew right away it must have changed ownership. I asked the cashier. She said she just started a week ago and it was the same owner as when it was in the mall. Anyway I placed my order with the friendly smiley cashier. Right away she tells me they don't have bifana. Yup.. Kitchen bifana doesn't have bifana... Then she says let me check. She comes back and tells me there are two left. So I ordered the 2 bifana's. 1 plain and one with the peppers. Both sandwiches had stale bread and extremely dry over salted bifana and one red pepper and two yellow peppers and I'm talkin slivers. I ordered a Cod sandwich which was ice cold on stale bread. Gross. I also ordered the Portuguese hot dog. It did not have Potato Sticks on it but instead little French fries soggy and saturated with ketchup and not the correct ingredients at the bottom of this disgusting pork tasting hot dog not beef like it used to be. Again with stale bread. The last thing I ordered was some rice pudding. It expired on July 13th. We went on July 24th.The kicker.... $47.50 for trash.BTW she said 10 minutes.... 40 minutes later... She told me the customer before me ordered tons of food and it put the cooks behind. Really? Complaining about business?!?!?If I could give ZERO stars I would.Where is the pride in this business? The new owner should not blame the 2 girls cooking in the back. This is on the owner for not taking pride in his business.I have never in my life ate portuguese food that wasn't prepared with pride.Never again!
