Authentic food and people. If you like Jamaican food or you want something different you’ve got to hit this spot if you’re in the area. I’ve dined in once and taken out several times. My favorites are the jerk chicken meal and the stewed oxtail meal. The beef patties are delicious too. They have an assortment of soft drinks you’d find in Jamaica too.

This review is being written as i actively take my first bite of food. I stopped in here this evening, to get something to eat before class.
The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff is humble and you instantly can feel the “family vibes”
There was a young man struggling to pay for his meal, and they used the honor system, gave him the food because he was hungry, and the gentleman to come back when he could. I ended up combing the kids meal.
The food is AMAZING but regardless they will get my service going forward simply because they are good people.

Got curry. This is not it! Awful no flavor!! I got 3 pieces of chicken with white rice and the rice was HARD! Not edible at all. Should have just made my own. So much better! Everyone wants to open restaurants and the food is TRASH!!

The food here is genuinely good, which makes this situation all the more disappointing. After I respectfully pointed out an error on the menu—an item that contained inaccurate information—the response I received was far from professional. Rather than acknowledging the mistake, the staff became uncooperative, and I was subsequently refused service.
While I’ve noticed the menu has since been corrected, there has been no acknowledgment or accountability regarding how the situation was initially handled. Repeated attempts to order delivery have been met with consistent cancellations, which raises serious concerns.
As a Black man who makes a conscious effort to support Black-owned businesses, this experience has been particularly disheartening. I hope this feedback prompts some reflection on how customer concerns are addressed in the future.
