This place used to be the spot. Not anymore. I paid over 40 dollars for a small container of Bacalhau only to find out it's a potato bacalhau. Literally just potatoes and no fish. Will not buy food from his place anymore. Too expensive for the quality of food I am getting.

What kinda place is this! I go to desa market and I ask to smell the bacalhua the owner tell me I no smell the bacalhua unless I buy the bacalhua first. I say vapa madre how do I know if I want the bacalhua if i can’t smell it first . So I tell him I call the police you like me chama o police? He say go call the police and you no come back here no more! Puah!

First time at DeSa. Pretty cool selection of various ethnic types of food. Got a chicken and rice that smelled so good and cooked to perfection. Sold by the pound. Little pricey. I'll be back.
