Love the pastel 🤤 I’ve ordered cupcakes and other cape verdean sweets from here. All were 10/10. Always available even if i call same day sometimes she makes time for a dessert order 💗 also recommended her to my peoples who are not familiar to taunton

This Cape Verdean café is a true gem. The food is incredible—rich, flavorful, and made with love. Their *doce de leite*? The only one I’ve had that comes close to my mãe’s. Creamy, sweet, and absolutely unforgettable as good as mom's.

I ordered a custom cake from Josi and it turned out better than I could have imagined. She took every idea I had and turned it into a delicious piece of art. The filling was fresh and delicious, and made such a wonderful memory for my mother's birthday. I recommend Islands for all your cake needs and dreams!

Walked in looking for cheesecake, but ended up walking out with rice/beans, fish, and rock bean stew with pork. Spoiled myself with a big slice of flan👌🏼 the smell is aggressive advertising in its own right. THE FOOD HERE IS SO DANG GOOD.
