One word to describe this place “OUTSTANDING”!my husband told me about this place as he was passing by it during work. I have to say, we are sooo happy we don’t have to travel 30 mins to get cachupa! The cachupa refogado is packed with flavor and not dry and pale like other places we’ve tried. Service and hospitality was amazing. The place is very clean, organized and well put together. We will definitely be back very soon! Thank you Islands cafe & bakery !

Great Cape Verdean Food spot that just opened up. They took over the spot where the spanish restaurant used to be so of course, with curiosity, I had to stop in. To my surprise, the interior was so cute and the food was delicious! They have tons of sweets to choose from and food to order that is sort of like a buffet style. The ladies that work there are super nice & helpful with choosing the items you might like. Josi the owner, is wonderful. Came back twice in one day because we just had to have more. We tried the rice and beans, fried chicken (this was great!), lamb (also amazing), and some other goodies. Give them a try, you won't regret it.
