I ordered the Pearl steak and was disappointed, I ordered medium rare and it was more medium, I would have been ok with this but the sirloin was just not good, it was so tough I had trouble cutting it and chewing was even harder. The sauce that came with it was good and the potatoes were good but the poor quality meat ruined the meal for me. My wife ordered the Pork Alentejan and said it was good. A few minutes into dinner the live music started and it was so loud i could not hear my wife sitting across from me, this just made it a not so good experience for me. The service was excellent the waitress was attentive and pleasant.

And then some with no question. Service is always super friendly and a pleasure to deal with. We had the Cod Fish Cakes, Chicken Mozambique and Madeira Chicken, carrot cake and the salted caramel Vanilla cake all absolutely delicious, amazing n all at a great price . Looking forward to going back serval times to try 1 of every thing on the menu. Great service too! A TRUE PEARL!!

This is quickly becoming one of my favs in Taunton. You've got to try the linguica flatbread. Portuguese filet and steak Mozambique are my go-tos for dinner. And don't sleep on the boiled potatoes.
We came here on April 30 I think our waitres was Daniele . She was lovely ,the food was amazing and great portions and we didn’t have to wait !! Those are all the things that’ make a great experience for me

When you walk in you would never expect it to look like it does. They have beautiful lights hanging everywhere and makes it seem like you are 100 miles from downtown Taunton.
The food was incredible. We each had the pearl steak. The gravy/sauce was out of this world. Anna was our bartender and she truly cared about this place. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and was so excited when we told her how much we loved the food.
I’m honestly shocked I hadn’t heard about The Pearl before considering it has been there since I believe 2017? Either way, I will 100% be going back and can not recommend it enough.
