My girl and I ended up here after our first choice was closed for lunch on Sunday. We walked in and there was no one to greet us. After a few minutes the bar tender yelled to us we can sit anywhere. We sat down and a few minutes later the bar tender brought us menus and specials. About 10 min after that the bar tender came down to take our drink orders. We had already had enough time to decide on our lunch order also. We got 10 chicken wings 5 buffalo and 5 gold fever flavored. We also ordered a cheeseburger to split. After a few minutes she brought our drinks down. About 15 minutes later our food came out. Everything was warm not hot and was just mediocre. The burger was over cooked and the chicken was a bit dry. The sauce on the wings was ok. I was just unimpressed with the service and the food. The decor was another thing altogether, the inside was kinda cool with exposed wood and metal. I went to the restroom and I was confronted by nothing but overly sexualized photos framed of girls in various states of undress. I can only imagine what kinda of questions I would have to answer if I took my son to the bathroom when he was little. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Food was sub par, cooked in old oil. My child's fries and chicken were burnt. Fries soggy. Bartender seemed disinterested in making a decent impression. Added ingredients to my drink after it was served and served me a margarita in a beer glass which I would normally let slide but there was no tahini rim as mentioned on the menu. There were only 3 people at the bar so I'm not sure what happened

Great burgers. Wings aren't bad either.. Fries are fresh hand cut not frozen .I hope this place makes it.. most in this location do not

If you want a sporty spot to take your date, or just want a new place to hang on the weekend, Torched is your best move if you're in the Taunton area. For how small the menu is, the selection is larger than life.Wait staff are kind, and the bartender provides a healthy pour on all beverages! (Girlfriend seal of approval!)Wheelchair accessibility: Open seating in the main area/front of the restaurant.

DON'T eat the food, you WILL get FOOD POISONING. Every friend I've brought there has gotten food poisoning from the chicken and other dishes but it seems the chicken is the worst! The drinks are good but food is a NO GO! It's not like this is a one time event I've been there with friends many times on different days. Honestly just never eat there. ONLY GET DRINKS IF YOU GO OR YOU WILL GET SICK!!!!

Just... wow. It's a small place. There is limited street parking but a garage directly across the street it's only $1 and hour. The experience makes these small details of inconvenience well worth it. Love the interior design. Clean fresh and overall great vibe. Our bartender was absolutely amazing. Sat at the bar and shared the tenders and tips meal. More than enough to share. We both got side salads rather than fries and coleslaw. Tenders were fresh chicken cooked to perfection and the tips are the best I have had in a long time. Perfectly cooked to medium as requested. I can't wait to go back.

Tried Torched for the second time last night. Wanted to visit last week but there was a pub crawl going on so it was impossible to stay, with the level of noise. My first experience when they first opened was good so I decided to persevere and try it again. Please note: it was 5:00 when we arrived. The noise level was so incredibly loud from the bar, we could barely have a conversation. At least two other parties of diners were seated and left due to the noise level. (They were literally screaming). The waitress was attentive and efficient, the steak tips were awesome, but I will not return to Torched. I have tried to support this new business from the start, so I am a bit disappointed. If you want to go to a bar, go here by all means. If you want dinner, go to another restaurant. The parking is difficult as well, but there is a lot one street over that is open. As a female though, I would not want to be parking so far from an establishment and walking to and from my car alone.

We have been waiting to try out Torched Kitchen & Bar. With all the kids and trying to find babysitters we finally got a night out and we’re very excited. However we didn’t get to try the food. ?We walked in about 6:50pm and the host came Right over to us maybe a minute later and asked us if we had a waitress yet. We said no. But we just got there. He said he would let them know. Attempt #1. About 10 mins go by and the host came to us again and asked if had a waitress yet. We again said no and again he said he would get someone. We saw him talk to a waitress. She then walked right by us (both waitresses walked by us a total of 10 times tonight) another 5 mins went by and we saw the host yet again tell the waitress we were waiting. And she could get away from him so fast. Now we both understand the restaurant business and understand it was a busy night with only 2 waitresses and the host is bussing tables. We were willing to stay and wait as long as it took. We get it!! You’re short staffed and busy. Now that doesn’t excuse the fact that neither waitresses came over and took a drink order, nor said hello, not even said we will be right with you. Instead they both tried to not make any eye contact with us.But we get it. They were very young and probably don’t understand good restaurant customer service. However after 20 mins of being ignored. A young couple walked in and sat. The waitress that was told we were there twice walked right over to them. Got them a drink and then took a food order. They were clearly regular and friends. So we thanked the host for trying and let him know we were leaving.I’m sure we will eventually have a babysitter and try again. I’m just hoping this gets to the owners or management so these little bugs are worked out of a beautiful new restaurant. All it would of took for us to keep waiting would be for us to be acknowledging and not skipped over by the waitress friends .

Recommend chicken tenders but DO NOT recommend steak tips.My husband and I tried out Torched tonight for dinner. Heard great things from others, especially about the steak tips. My husband and I both got the tips and tenders meal to go. The chicken, Sweet chili and habanero mango was great, great flavor. The tips we were both highly unsatisfied. We ordered medium well, when we got home our tips were purple/red raw. As you can see in the photo, not even close to medium well...We weren't going all the way back just to wait longer for our meals, we had to finish cooking both orders of tips at home. They tasted alright recooked at home but highly doubt as good cooked correctly fresh from the restaurant. As someone who does not eat very rare meat, I was disgusted by it. After paying $60+ for 2 meals we ended having to cook at home was real disappointing. I suggest if you get tips for take out, cut it open before you leave to make sure they were even put on the grill. Not how it should be but I highly doubt we are the only ones this happened to.

Great tips...bartender Bailey is amazing. Come down and enjoy a great cocktail and a wonderful vibe in downtown Taunton.
