Food was really good, lots of options for everyone. Being able to sit outdoors was nice too.
I actually have been here a few times and typically like it very much, however this experience wasn't great. I had a lemon martini which was great but the second time they ran out of egg white and made me the drink anyway and it wasn't even 1/2 as good as the first one. We had some oysters for an appetizer & i get this isn't a seafood restaurant, but who doesn't clean their oysters before shucking? They were filthy and had grime in the ice and ultimately it tainted the actual oyster. The other items we had were delicious- risotto, chicken & waffle, swordfish, short rib. But there were def some short cuts that weren't acceptable. And i think our waiter may have been new because he seemed quite overwhelmed, so they may need a little more help so the staff feel they don't need to rush. For more than $300 with tip & drinks, i expect things to be flawless with the food & drink.
Delicious food and excellent service. We met everyone who worked at the restaurant and they were all very kind, helpful, and humorous. We look forward to visiting their other location in Foxboro.
Nice pleasant clean atmosphere. The employees were super nice and helpful. The food was great - (note) too much salt added for my liking. I highly recommend to this place.
The service was phenomenal. Drinks and food were very good. Really liked to decor. Parking was convenient. Will go again.
Went in for an early Sunday supper at 3. Bar was full and there was one large party at a table. We told the hostess we had a reservation but she didn't acknowledge me and just sat us (causing Open Table to think we ditched the reservation!) A few things - food was fine. They seem to have a Hot Honey fetish right now, as at least 5 dishes used it. Peach pizza was good, son's burger looked good, as did hubby's short rib panini. Whipped goat cheese app was DELICIOUS, but pricey at $16. (All apps seemed pretty pricey for what they were). Over all it was good food BUT spending over $100 for one app, 3 sandwiches and one beer seemed a lot. Service was fine, but there were little weird things. When he brought the app plates, the server even rubed his finger one one to get fingerprints off. I asked him to replace the plate, as he was walking away after not even trying! He did so, but we did noticed that most plates and utensils were fingerprinted. Ick. Also, they were sweeping the dining room while we ate, including under the table just to our side. That is also icky. Overall, everything was fine. Nothing glaring. But between the ick factor and the prices and the redundancy of some menu items, we won't return.
My wife,4year,1year son's and I were seated outside for brunch. We asked for a high chair and the maître de brought us one. She says it's broken and the 5 they own are in the same condition can we leave are 1 year old in a car seat. “Are you serious 🧐 “ they bring us two waters a coffee, a menu we order. They bring me a coffee and we sit outside for 50 minutes. After 50 minutes, I get up, go inside and say to my waiter, I have been here for 50 minutes. The people who came in after me are eating. You have minutes to have my food outside for my family. If not, we are going to leave. After waiting for five minutes, my family and I packed up as the manager comes outside and says hey we're gonna put your food in now. Can you imagine that I would never suggest going to this place to anyone.
This was my second time at Union and Straw for brunch and the continues to be exceptional.
A good experience as always and the food was very good. However, the service and food delivery was slow. It was crowded, but the restaurant seemed a little understaffed for a Saturday night.
Food was very good. Entree portions could be a little bigger, but otherwise very good Will definitely be back.

Service was excellent and waiter extremely nice. Food terrible way too much salt. The location in Foxboro food was so much better!
It took 15 minutes to get a menu and 36 minutes to get a drink. Food came out pretty quickly once we ordered, but the beginning was not great. Server was pleasant although seemed in the weeds pretty early on. Food and drinks were good.
The ribeye was cooked well and the server was exceptional. He took time to explain the menus and made recommendations. He was pleasant and patient.
Great food and service! We highly recommend this place!
