Great upgrades to the inside. Unfortunately the staff was subpar....rude and discrepfull at best. I hope management can make the nessary changes to make it a place people want to return to on a regular basis

The Red Onion has gone from "Dive Bar" to "the Place To Be" since new management took over. If you haven't been lately, give it a chance.

Depending on why your going will determine the quality of your stay. If you've come to play pool, it's great. 4 free tables that are usually clean and level make for a great play time. If your looking for a good bar or club scene this isn't the place for you, despite a great selection of craft beers and liquors. it's dark and dreary, usually cold and the seating is poor unless you chose to sit at the bar. But there is the benefit of multiple large screen TV's to watch a game on.

Me and three friends with legal ids couldnt get in because one didnt have a horizontal license but was of age and with a non expired licens . One had a mass id of age but it was also vertical and not horizontal.
