Food was ok. French fries tasted line the lard was super old. No pride in making food. Lobster ravioli was bland and tasteless, very similar to the atmosphere. Not a place you would visit twice.
On a snowy December Friday evening, we stopped in for a tasty dinner. Drinks from Rick at the bar, and quick, friendly service from Donna. We both had the dinner special of broccoli rabe, orriecheta and sausage, along with a salad. came out of the kitchen fast, hot and very good, savory taste. Owner Joe, came by to check on us. Overall, very cozy and friendly spot for a good meal, and good value. Service is excellent. Even some live music from a young man on guitar!
I'm mezzo Siciliano (but tutto Italiano), and let me tell you, the food and drinks at Café Sicilia are truly breathtaking! It's more Italian-American fare than it is Italian (one of their best dishes, the Homemade Toasted Ravioli, was invented in St. Louis, Missouri), but it's still quite possibly the best Italian-American food I've had in Massachusetts. Heck, the only place I can think of that does "classic Italian" better charges twice as much...
