Although I pass by all the time this was my first time stopping at Jimbo's and in sorry I waited this long. The roast beef was absolutely perfect. Piled high with sauce and cheese on a buttered, toasted bun. Mom got a haddock sandwich which was overflowing with a nice size piece of fish. It was quiet when I picked up take out, but it was post lunch, pre-dinner so that's expected. Will be back regularly when the that beef urge comes along as long as the prices stay where...
Think this was our second time here, don't think we'll be back. Service and staff are always very pleasant and helpful, but the food is just so-so. Not sure how anyone could rate it over 4 stars (unless quality has gone down over the years). We got scallops and a pastrami sandwhich, with fries and onion rings; and they weren't that great. We'll have to find another option for local seafood.
They gentlemen are all very pleasant and very patient. There are a variety of foods to choose from. They also give amazingly large food portions. I fell in love with their pizza, rich in toppings. I was very pleasantly surprised!?
I am used to places that serve a variety of foods doing so with most foods being of poor quality, and a select few items being of high quality and tasty. So far, everything I've tried has been great, even late!
