Ok, maybe it’s not actually hitting the lottery, but it is such a great feeling to grab the PERFECT lunch when out working the road as a sales person. It makes the rest of the day that much better! Today, I stopped at Jon Ryan’s Pubs in Tewksbury, and had what I think is the BEST Wedge salad I can remember having since the dinner I had with my wife the night she said yes to marry me, back in 2001! I've been here 20 plus times in my life. It's exactly what I expect normally. Pub food, drinks are fine and the staff is usually helpful. This last visit wasn't enjoyable. We sat at the bar, the bartender helped the regulars before helping us (we were there a solid 10 mintues before the regulars sat down). Getting her attention to order food AND another drink was a lesson in patience. It made me feel uncomfortable and annoyed.
