Meadowlands has been a staple in Tewksbury for years—and for good reason. The ice cream is absolutely top-tier. Rich, creamy, flavorful—no complaints there. It’s a summer must. Since the new ownership took over last year, you can tell they’ve put effort into keeping the classics alive, and that’s appreciated.
**BUT**—and it’s a big but—they really need to get the pickup window process figured out. The whole point of calling ahead is to save time, right? Instead, the pickup window consistently takes longer than the walk-up/takeout window, which makes zero sense. The takeout customers, who didn’t even call in, are being helped faster while pickup orders sit somewhere in limbo.
And when you finally get to the pickup window, it always feels like chaos. No one seems to know whose order is ready or what’s going on, and you get a different excuse every time. It’s frustrating, especially when you've done the polite thing and called ahead.
That said—the **ice cream is still phenomenal**, and we’ll be back. But please, to the owners: you’ve got a great product and a loyal customer base. Now it’s time to streamline the system. The experience should match the quality of the scoops.

We have come to Meadowlands ice cream for many years. All of their products are delicious! My husband loves their Sunday Their frappe are great also. My favorite lately is their home made grape nut icecream.🥰🥰🥰🥰😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 It’s a great place to go sit at a picnic table and enjoy the beautiful trees ,and the sound of little ones enjoying their drinks or ice creams and playing or reading a book they can see while there. I’m sorry it’s closing for the season you will be missed but looking forward to next season. Take care and have a wonderful and safe time off.😋😋😋😋😋😋

Parking: Plenty of parking but it's weird as they don't have definitive markings to guide parking so it can be confusing.

If you want your order done correctly, don’t order to go. Mine is never right, always has whipped cream when it has on the slip NO whip. Just so frustrating when you get all the way home and it’s incorrect. I know I should check the bag but still.
