If you have not tried this place you need to, it is amazing. I can't stop telling people about it and bringing people to it. It is a diamond. The best thing that has happened to Tewksbury and a long time
Best place ever. Been going for years and I've never once had a bad experience.
Picklicious! The Green Monster did not disappoint. We loved our pickle sandwiches. Don’t forget to stop at the Sweet Shoppe next door-the woman working was very nice and helped us pick out our treats. Lots of gluten free options too!!
I went in to get a Green Monster (pickle sandwich) as advertised on TikTok. The employees were very friendly and the sandwich was delicious. I also was able to grab some pre-made food to make for dinner later, so convenient
A group of friends and I made the drive from Boston out here just to try the pickle sandwhich and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded all of our expectations! The pickle was perfect; crunchy, hint of garlic, flavorful but not overpowering. Make sure to get the garlic aïoli and/or the honey mustard for dipping. I personally got the garlic aïoli on the sandwhich and honey mustard on the side and it was perfect.
What made this even better was the staff. Super friendly and helped us pick out what to put on our sandwiches so that they were exactly what we were looking for.
Overall, both the sandwiches and market were fantastic and we will 100% be making the drive back!
Thank you Al Fresca's Sweet Shop for a truly amazing cake!! It wasn't only a stunning work of art, but also Very delicious!!! Almost a shame to have had to cut into it.
Thank you from many of us celebrating my granddaughter's 1st Birthday
Friendly workers! They carry raw local honey - a spring and autumn variation for you allergies.
The market and selection was impressive however the prepared braised short rib with mashed potatoes for $12.95 was not. There was only about 3oz of edible meat in all and even that was kinda fatty. Maybe I just got a bad piece? The mashed potatoes were good though. Worth another try.
I went to check it out but it was not what I expected. It is a gourmet store . I'm sure there are many people who like it.
The Medford is fantastic with the house marinade ?. Cool little market with friendly staff. Don't skip the bakery next door as well, very good.
Restaurantji Recommends
Their new freshly made to order pizza is outstanding! Highly recommend!
Amazing new shop, with lots of local beers, wine, fresh fruit, and vegetables, plus they offer a nice variety of imported Italian goods. The prepared foods are right off the menu from the restaurant next door, and some other homemade treats including fresh baked bread are available. The deli serves boars head meats and cheeses, and they make an incredible array of sandwiches (The Medford is the biggest and best loaded Italian anywhere nearby). They also have a wood fire pizza oven, and offer individual size pizzas. I’ll absolutely be back to try more!
Tasty dishes. Pumpkin butternut ravioli!!!!! Aronchi, the Medford Sammi!
Great prepared foods! They have a lot of good options. Their sandwiches could be a bit better. Also the prices are on the higher end. Overall I'd recommend giving them a try.
I went in to the market to check it out. I saw a few people ordering sandwiches and decided I couldn't leave without one. I ordered "the medford". It's what I would consider an Italian. I was a little disappointed when I was told they were out of salami but I figured I'd try it anyway. I will not argue the quality of this sandwhich... Great bread and fresh cold cuts. It comes with thier al fresca mix which is marinated vegetables. Overall it was a good sandwich but if I'm being honest it can't beat a market basket Italian for $5.99. This sub was $14. They have a beautiful pizza oven then I'll be back to try but I probably won't ever be back for a sandwich.
