I checked out The Pull-Up today, and it was amazing! They serve Latin Soul Food, and the best part is all the meat is halal. I had the rib eye stew and the steak and cheese empanada, and both were so good. The stew was super flavorful, and the meat just melted in my mouth. The empanada was perfectly crispy with a cheesy, savory filling. Plus, the portions were really generous.
The owner was super nice and clearly passionate about serving great food, which you can taste in every bite. If you’re looking for delicious halal Latin Soul Food, you’ve got to try The Pull-Up. I’ll definitely be back!

Stew chicken was delicious ?!! We ordered the pull up mac and tried the empanadas and kidney beans, all enjoyable. Kudos to the chef! We will be returning. ??
Holy cow! I read a review here that said "12/10". I thought "no way..." welp, I stand corrected. This delicious platter tastes exactly like the one my grandma used to make. Absolutely delicious. The empanadas are perfectly crunchy, the rice perfectly seasoned, the meat! 12/10 isn't enough.

Absolutely delicious! My first time in. Fried chicken dinner yellow rice and beans plus plantains, and steak and cheese empanada. The portions are large. I can't get over how good the food is. Must try!
Exactly what this area needed! Casual, chill atmosphere, nicely decorated, just missing bodega music!! Service was great! Homie with the beard (sorry didn’t catch your name) made great suggestions and was a sweetheart! Plenty of parking too!
We got the Pollo Guisado (Chix stew), Pastelon, Arepas, and Empeñadas! The car smelled like Titis house! Delicious! My husband and I tore it all up and our 6 month old seem to love the Arroz Amarillo and my 5 yr old Autistic kiddo devoured the empeñadas! We will 100% be back!
Order ahead of time because the food is soo good it disappears fast!! All we need now is some tres leche cake *(suggested menu add on)*

I grew up in south Florida with Latin cuisine and culture being very prominent everywhere. The food there is incredible. I moved up here to New England a year and a half ago and my stomach has been so sad because I haven’t found any good Latin food that compares lol. The pull up is one of the best places I’ve tried and I can say for sure I finally found my spot to get some authentic, delicious Latin food ? the stew chicken was extremely tender, the rice was cooked perfectly and the flavors were amazing. One large stew chicken fed my girlfriend and I twice! The steak empanadas were filled with suuuuch good and flavorful steak, and the sweet plantains were perfect. The owner served us and was so kind and made our food fresh to order. They sold out of the Mac and cheese and yellow rice because we came before closing, makes sense because the food is so good. Can’t wait to come back and try to mac. So glad I found my new spot!

We had a delicious dinner at The Pull Up! Chicken stew, chicken and cheese empanadas, sweet plantains, rice and kidney beans, fried chicken... all delicious! They will sell out of some items if you go in the evening so be prepared to order something different (if you study the menu in advance like me!). Will definitely be back to try their oxtail!
The minute I walked in the person at the counter was so bland , when I said hello she barely cracked a smile. had to ask for a menu and what is this name difference when drive up it’s Latin Soul and now it’s Pull up… I would not recommend it….also the menu was ver limited the packaging, no napkins utensils in a brown box… again no Thank you come again…very disappointed ☹️

Steak and cheese empanada, mid not worth $6.(Came with a mayo ketchup) also mid. A regular “ Fried chicken” three chicken tenders, rice ,and beans. Chicken came with no sauce. The white rice was salty. Do better. This is a disgrace to the Boricua community.

As a bonus, Rob the owner is such a sweetheart and his mom too. You can taste the love they put into their cooking. I saw some people complaining about prices but you get a lot of food.
