I’ve been here twice and both times I made sure I ordered the arepa and yellow rice. These items taste so authentic and so flavorful that I will continue to eat here for years to come. Also Robin, the owner, is the nicest guy you’ll meet and he puts his heart and soul into cooking these delicious treats. The sweet plantains are also super tasty. He told me to come back this Saturday (November 1, 2025) when he’s making an Oxtail dish. This food is so good your tastebuds will thank you every time. I highly recommend stopping by with your family and friends.

I love the food here particularly the empanadas. But multiple times I've driven here during their business hours only to find them unexpectedly closed. I can't plan to feed my family from here if they don't keep their hours.

This was my first time visiting and I was greeted by Robin, who was welcoming and took the time to answer all my questions. You can tell he’s passionate about his food and puts creativity into everything he makes.
I tried the Oxtail and cheese empanada, absolutely amazing!!! The meat was tender, seasoned perfectly, and packed with flavor. I also had the chicken and cheese empanada, which was just as good, seasoned well and filled with meat.
Robin is doing something special here, and he’s definitely gained a loyal customer. I’ll be coming back to try more of his creations. Highly recommend!

I checked out The Pull-Up today, and it was amazing! They serve Latin Soul Food, and the best part is all the meat is halal. I had the rib eye stew and the steak and cheese empanada, and both were so good. The stew was super flavorful, and the meat just melted in my mouth. The empanada was perfectly crispy with a cheesy, savory filling. Plus, the portions were really generous.
The owner was super nice and clearly passionate about serving great food, which you can taste in every bite. If you’re looking for delicious halal Latin Soul Food, you’ve got to try The Pull-Up. I’ll definitely be back!

Holy cow! I read a review here that said "12/10". I thought "no way..." welp, I stand corrected. This delicious platter tastes exactly like the one my grandma used to make. Absolutely delicious. The empanadas are perfectly crunchy, the rice perfectly seasoned, the meat! 12/10 isn't enough.
