Their food is way above and beyond your average pub food. Killer menu and we always love their dinner specials.. Great portions and delicious. Always great bartenders there. We love going on Saturday nights for dinner and stay to rock out to whatever band they have that night. One of our favorite local spots!

You might drive right past the building without noticingâbut that would be a mistake. Even when itâs quiet, TJ Callahanâs is a knockout lunch spot. The smashburger hit me square in the face with flavor, exploding thanks to a secret sauce that deserves its own spotlight. Then came the tortellini shrimp pasta in a creamy white sauceâunexpected, elegant, and absolutely delicious. The steak tips held their own too, rounding out a trio of dishes that all came out swinging. Fresh, fast and fierce cooking skills watching him fold flavors smartly.
Going when itâs not too busy gives you the lay of the land: live music setup, dart boards galore, and a function room thatâs perfect for letting loose. Let them do the cookingâthe foodâs that good. You could easily plan a casual function that rolls into a full night out. No cover required doing it that way and no lines. A local regular tipped me off to that move, and Iâm passing it on.
This isnât a fancy spotâitâs relaxed, welcoming, and built for good times with friends. This is the type of Irish bar I grew up with. I'm 100% sure I would make new friends at the bar. We went there on Sunday night. We had pasta, chicken Parmigiano, and meatballs. The food was okay. The bartender was very friendly. The place is a biker bar. There is one unisex toilet (yes, just one) to serve everybody.

Two of us came to TJ Callahanâs Pub in Tewksbury to see a band we enjoy play here about a month ago. We had a great time. Our server was friendly and attentive all night. The drinks were excellent. The menu here has all the usual American and Irish pub fare with a few twists here and there. We had the Hot Burger, and Buffalo Mac & Cheese which was served on a skillet. Great stuff. Definitely worth another visit.
