This was my first bad experience here other than that I love this place lol. Had an unnecessarily rude and frustrating experience with one of the bartenders. I explained that I lost my wallet and only had a photo of my ID. Fine, if you can’t accept it, I understand but what really annoyed me was that he refused mine, then turned around and didn’t even bother ID’ing my boyfriend. ??? When I asked why he said he “assumed his age.” Then they avoided the entire side of the bar for the next 40 minutes. Another bartender got our tab. It seems like the manager came out to the bar to stare at us the entire time while I sip my sprite so that was strange & uncomfortable too.

Perhaps an off day based on prior reviews. Went there today with family, sat in bar area. One bartender took 35 minutes to get a drink. Management do better, this was a Saturday afternoon with the bruins playing. I'm not sure I will be back.

Customers, please be AWARE. Take a picture of your receipt because apparently, the waitress there added tips to herself that I didn’t authorize. She added almost 25% to my bill without my knowledge or approval. This is extremely poor service.

We had our company event there last week. 150 people all contained in the entire Firewater Tavern with private bowling, cornhole, outdoor patio access, and plenty of space. Jessica and their amazing staff helped me to not have to lift a finger. The layout of the place is perfect for personalities of all types, lots of room to chill and hangout comfortably. Our official feedback from the event was 4.88 of 5 stars. I highly recommended this spot for your next event (150-250 people). It was perfect and we will definitely be going back.

They dont take cash at the bar. Make you buy cards and charge you extra for it. Ridiculous

Feel free to look up how much money I have spent at your establishment. I only say this so you understand this is coming from a true patron not just a one time customer. First lets start off I am writing this from the rewards counter where I have been standing for 20 minutes. Not great. Poor bartender is by herself on a Saturday night. Fair to say that was a line too. Now lets get to the real issue. The GAMES! What is Wamesit if half your games don't work. That is no exaggeration. One of our traditions is I beat the house record in basketball every time we come. Hard to do that with both basketball games down. I typically spend 3-500 when we come. Thats in like a 2 hour period. Not today. One annoying drink, another annoying wait to cash in chips manually because the exchange machine was.....you guessed it down. Gotta do better. Im not a fair weather customer either. Ill be back. Infact if i do come back and things have improved Ill alter this review. Fingers crossed!

I had the absolute BEST time at Wamesit Lanes for a recent work party, and I cannot say enough good things about Alison! From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She greeted us with such a warm, genuine smile and immediately made our group feel welcomed and taken care of. Throughout the entire event, Alison was attentive, professional, and honestly just a joy to be around. She anticipated our needs before we even asked whether it was keeping drinks topped off, checking in to make sure the lanes were running smoothly, or just spreading good energy that kept everyone smiling. It’s rare to find someone who can balance being efficient and organized with being personable and fun, but Alison did it effortlessly. Not only did she handle our large group with ease, she made it feel personalized like we weren’t just another work party coming through. She took the time to chat with us, laugh with us, and made sure every single person was having a great time. That kind of genuine care is what makes the difference between a “good” outing and an “unforgettable” one. Alison truly turned what could have been just a normal work party into an amazing experience that we’ll all be talking about for a long time. She is the kind of employee every business dreams of having: hardworking, kind, and incredibly dedicated to making guests feel special. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would. Alison deserves recognition, and honestly, she deserves a raise for the way she goes above and beyond. People like her are the reason customers keep coming back. Wamesit Lanes is lucky to have her for sure!!!!
Had a great time with the girls I on a Thursday night! Our server was fantastic. I believe her name was Ally or Allison. She's fabulous! Yummy Sangrias too.
