A small place that is full of big surprises. The food was amazing. Steamers and Clam fritters were delicious with a house made tartar, lobster roll was perfect. Sea scallops were cooked perfectly and the seafood casserole was delicious. And the Cole slaw was super fresh. The place was busy and they didn't have enough wait staff, but they said they were in the process of finding someone new to work the weekends. We will be back.
Arrived about 330pm. Loved the setting. Felt like we were at the cape in a roadside hole in the wall. There was only 3 other parties in the place. Ordered the handcut onion rings they were fantastic. Best ive had in years. Definitely not a frozen product. Then comes the downside. Ordered baked scallops and whole clams. Expected things to run smoothly. 45 minutes between appetizer and dinner. Wow. Food should have taken 20 minutes at that point. Other people were served and no...
So glad this restaurant is right in our neighborhood and just sorry we haven’t tried it until now. We started with a bowl of steamers that were sweet and juicy - and big! - then split a fried platter. It was all really good but the haddock, shrimp and scallops stood out the most.
Nice selection of local craft beers. Laid back seaside atmosphere and excellent service with fair prices. We’ll be back for sure.
