We had lunch yesterday at this beautiful little gem of a cafe on Martha's Vineyard. The atmosphere is modern eclectic and very warm and cozy! It's a bright and clean spot like a breath of fresh air! The vibrant, colorful art on the walls is truly beautiful and very interesting to look at. The space is small but huge on feel-good vibes! The waitress was very attentive and friendly! Now, onto the best part: the food! The food is fresh and super delicious, beautifully and creatively platted. I had the Salade Nicoise with the pan seared fresh tuna. It was absolutely delicious and satisfying! My wife had the lamb burger with tzatziki delicious and flavourful, perfectly prepared. We also enjoyed a cup of tomato bisque with toasted bread, and we're not tomato soup lovers, but this bisque was super delicious and not acidic at all! The prices are very reasonable for the island. All in all, I rate this spot as a 100% perfect! Only one thing I would change: we would have loved some home fries with the burger, but they offer these only with breakfast. Otherwise, our experience was 100% wonderful. Do check this gem out when you're on Martha's Vineyard. You'll be glad you did!

Food was overly expensive, and one dish came with avocado that was half rotten. We couldn't even believe they plated it! Very slow inside, never asked if we wanted tea or coffee refills, mind you, $4.50 for a tea bag. Don't waste your money. This place was once great, so sad to see it's decline.

Had the fish tacos. It was mostly tomato. The iced chai latte was decent. Went because of the reviews but I was a bit disappointed. Two tacos, mostly tomato, chai latte $37 total….

Little House is hands down my favorite spot on Martha's Vineyard! It's charming and unfussy, with an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food is incredible, making it tough to decide what to order—and yet, still hard to stray from their delicious pappardelle.

Their lunch options are just as fantastic, whether you're dining in or grabbing something to go. It's also a great spot to grab a coffee without the long waits you find at bigger places on the island. Plus, they’re part of Island Eats, which is a nice bonus for takeout.

Added bonus - you can visit them year round

This is a place when you want a bit quieter place on this busy island during the summer. Very interesting and international menu. Beet and arugula salad very good. Lamb burger very nice and comes with Greek salad (which I will substitute for chips, since there lots of tomatoes on the burger)
Salmon very good. Polite, fried and sweet staff.

Delicious...but $35 for a pasta dish? Truly outrageous - even for Marthas Vineyard.

Little House Cafe is an absolute gem! The staff is always welcoming and friendly, making every visit a pleasure. Their parking is a huge plus, especially on the Vineyard. We can't get enough of their iced mocha lattes—so refreshing and perfectly balanced. And the Nutella croissants? Simply divine! It's the perfect spot to catch up with friends, whether it's a quick coffee or a leisurely chat. A year-round favorite for sure!

I rarely review things. It either has to be “that good” or “that bad”. Unfortunately, Little House Cafe was “that bad”. We were initially attracted to the restaurant because we could sit outside with our dog. You go inside, order takeout, and can use their picnic tables - perfect. I asked them to let us know when our food was ready and we’ll come grab it from inside. The woman taking orders said “come back in 15 minutes”. She was unable to peak her head outside the door and say “food is ready guys.” Too much effort. The food was bland, eggs over cooked and laughably expensive. I understand Martha’s Vineyard in general is expensive and im happy to pay those prices for quality food and service but this was awful all around. See attached picture of $75 (not exaggerating) breakfast. We were the only people there the entire time and it’s clear why…. This place must’ve gone down hill or we were there on a VERY off day. There’s lots of choices on the island - go literally anywhere else.
