Just went in for a snack and a beer, so can't comment beyond that. The server was very nice and attentive. Can't recommend the chowder due to portion size. Came in a coffee mug and half a it was croutons. What little portion you get was very good, just not much of it. Oh and a pint of draft beer should come in something other than a mason jar, just saying.
Bartender and staff were ABSOLUTELY SO sweet and accommodating!! I felt horrible coming in an hour before closing and they were so kind and welcoming!!!! Thank you @blackdogcafe staff! Always coming back

Stop 2 of our State Rd morning bakery tour! Came for the Mousse Bomb (for later) left with three boxes of donuts and croissants. Very clean, great patio seating area. No smiles or greetings at the counter though - I suppose if I were handing away all of those baked goods without getting to enjoy them myself I’d be a little miffed also.
