This place has miserably declined over the years. The pastries are clearly just frozen (or old?). The service is also insanely rude and not what you expect to get when you’re paying $9 for a little fruit cup. The woman making the coffees got our order wrong, I informed her (kindly!) and she snapped at me like she was scolding a child. We definitely will not return.

It’s the kind of place you have to come on the vineyard that you also won’t be mad you came to. Worth it.
Great selection of food It's always fresh baked and Easy going and friendly staff.
Kid-friendliness: They open space and It's ok to be nosey.

Ok as a souvenir shop.
The best BLT sandwich you can eat at this place. Good service.

Great breakfast sandwich, fast service (don't let the line fool you - it's a wait, but not as long as you think it will be), and they were able to accommodate a severe peanut allergy for a smoothie (the rest of the bakery goods were not safe, but we never expect that they are)! Thank you!
~$12 for 20oz iced coffee, 12oz hot coffee, and a cinnamon roll. Short wait time with quick service. Enough to get something before getting on the ferry. Iced coffee tasted like water though. Hot coffee tasted burnt. Cinnamon roll was fine. I’ll avoid getting coffee at this place on the future, but pastries are fine for a quick snack.
September 7, 2023.Espresso drinks: their sizes start at 12 ounces with one shot of espresso and they’re medium size is 16 ounces with two shots. They were willing to make me a smaller eight or 10 ounce drink with two shots which I appreciated. I have a number of signature lattes, which combine to different flavor syrups.

The Black Dog is religion on Martha's Vineyard, and it is not without cause! The entire complex is well designed and beautiful with creative products and an incredible, simple, brand. The bakery was great for a simple breakfast and good coffee drinks. The scramble bowl with hash was noteworthy. The chocolate croissant was actually a little too chocolatey and would benefit from heating, but I never asked them too. I have a lot of grace for young staff in a tourist madhouse so they were good.
A bit overrated, coffee was ok
Love it!!?
I'm never coming back. The male worker who was working around 3:30pm on 7/23/2023 loudly made fun of me right after I paid for my order and another worker joined him and started laughing also. I was already having a bad day and don't understand how someone could be so cruel, when I was polite to everyone and I didn't exchange a single word with him before the incident.
The Raspberry Mocha Specialty Latte was very good. It was $6.45 without tax I think
