Service is good, but Food is not a representation of Colombian food at all. Lack of seasoning. Empanadas we're over fried in so much oil........ as a Colombian did not enjoy :/

What a nice family owned restaurant. I love arepas and it isn't common to find them in a pretty white bread suburb. The food is delish and creative as are the many fancy coffees and cocktails. Little known fact, they take reservations so grab one cause it fills up quick.

Love everything about this place! Food is delicious and menu variety appeals to many palates. Tapas menu is fun to share small bites, especially if you're up to trying something unfamiliar. Martinis are marvelous! Can't say enough good stuff about the service! This restaurant far exceeds the chains located up and down DW highway and Tyngsboro. The owners are very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable! Go there, you won't be disappointed.

Such a cute little spot! Love the vibe! Service was friendly but the waiter we had could've been a bit more attentive. Espresso martini was good! I had the Harlem chicken and waffles, I had my share of them. This one was okay, I give it a 6.5 out of 10. Overall food and drinks were good. I would go back to try other options off the menu.

Been twice now, they do not disappoint, everything is incredible, food and service! Probably the best Bloody Mary I've ever had, pork & cheese panini is out of this world and buff-chick dip with fried bread ? Empanadas and some of the specials are ? . Highly recommend!

No photos taken, we were too busy eating! If you are anywhere near Tyngsboro, MA, you MUST, MUST, MUST go to Mami Luz. I cannot rave about this place more. To start, it's a bright, yet, dark, warm and cozy space with large screen TVs showing fireplaces that help with the ambiance. The TVs are at the back of the space behind the bar so at night they are reflected in the large windows at the front of the space and everyone can see them. I hate when restaurants have sports on, or the news, or some other shows that people wind up staring at rather than engaging in conversations with their dining partners. Smart phones at the table are bad enough, but not TVs too! It's a small place but still has lots of space between tables. The booths were comfortable. It was a little loud at first with a large party with a screaming kid, but once they left it was a pleasant atmosphere. Maybe some noise dampening options would help? OK, off my soapbox and back to the review . . . It is definitely _the best_ restaurant meal I have had in ages. We did the "Experience" for two people, even though we were three and there was SO MUCH FOOD. The way the Experience option works is you can order in even numbers (two people, four people, etc.), but not odd. Everyone ordering the Experience needs to order the same things. We thought about ordering for four people and having lots of leftovers but Mike, our server (and apparently restaurant owner) counseled against that as there would be too much food He was very wise. Since one of my friends and I wanted the same things we did that dining option and my other friend ordered ala carte. Some places police you and don't allow for sharing between prix fixe meals and ala carte, but Mama Luz is not like that. We were able to share everything. For our meal last night, every plate was better than the last. I had the street corn shrimp salad with greens, red cabbage, cilantro, peppers, jalapenos, street corn and cotija cheese. I was worried about the shrimp because lately when I've ordered it, it comes with that little black vein thing that makes it taste like iodine. This shrimp was not like that. It was warm and perfectly cooked to tenderness, not rubber. I'd come back just for this salad! We also ordered the patatas bravas that are served with chipotle aioli. The potatoes were both creamy on the inside and crispy outside and served with in chipotle aioli. The only small issue I had was that the aioli did make the potatoes a bit soggy so when we go back I'd ask for it on the side so the potatoes can be dipped in it, keeping their crispiness. This is a me thing and does not take away how delicious they were. They were completely addictive, but I was pacing myself for more food and only took a few. The arepas with cheese and pulled pork were the best bite of the night and so delicious I cannot begin to explain. We ordered the wings tossed in Buffalo sauce as the third tapa. I am not a wing person, but my friends loved them. She is a wing connoisseur and appreciated that the menu called out that the wings were not breaded, as that is her preference. We also got a full sized steak tip salad for the third person in our party. She also commented on how much steak was on the salad (a lot!). She expected a meager amount as many restaurants will do. She also raved about the taste and tenderness of the steak. It really was a gorgeous looking salad with mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, red onion, bacon, feta, guacamole and ranch dressing on the side. As part of the experience option we also ordered the jambalaya with andouille sausage, shrimp and vegetables, We were so full from everything they served that we asked Mike to box it up without it even landing on the table. Even though we could barely eat another bite, of course we ordered dessert. We got the chocolate chip cookie skillet. To die for. A warm fresh baked cookie, really good vanilla ice cream, topped with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and a cherry. Perfect! They even serve it with tiny spoons so you don't eat too muc

We love Mami Luz! The staff are incredible and the food is delicious. I visit a lot whether it’s to grab a quick protein coffee after the gym, or to meet with the girls for a brunch or to bring the family for lunch it’s our go to place. My husband and I also stop in for a few cocktails on a Thursday night and always live visiting. I have also hosted a corporate holiday party and my husbands surprise 40th and our guests raved about everything! The CEO at our company asked to host every year

I've been to Mami Luz's a few times now, and often to bring friends visiting me from out of town, and it never disappoints! My visitors always rave about it with food and drinks being delicious, the atmosphere comfy and upbeat, and the staff extremely welcoming and friendly! My favorite dish whenever I visit is the El Campesino, which is a delicious arepa topped with eggs and pulled pork. 10/10 would recommend. Definitely visit if you're in the area!!

I am so thankful for this mom and pop restaurant. It reminds us to take some time, enjoy cuisine that I may not always expect or order from. I love the diversity our town has. Please don't let one bean spoil the coffee. This coffee shop/tapes restaurant is a welcomed addition. We are thankful to have you! ❤️
