Fantastic! Better than Treehouse! Go here!

Was able to sneak out and check out their new pad during an 8 year old birthday party. The place was hopping with live music, a food truck and plenty of people. Since I’d never been I asked for a recommendation and Tom (owner) suggested their flagship IPA. It was better than expected and better than most beers I’ve had at some of the local breweries. All in all a great experience and I will unquestionably be back.

Modest Roots Brewing, a hidden gem that opened in their new space in November of last year. Immediately, I loved the giant mural that warmed up the large open air brewery and taproom! As a 3 bbl. nano brewery, I was so impressed with their offerings and my fiancé and I both got half pours of a few of their different beers to try, the standout for me was Take A Chance, their Cream Ale and my fiancé loved Suzy is a Head Banger, their American Stout on nitro!Check them out on a Friday or Saturday, they're dog friendly too, but don’t make the same mistake I did - be sure to put 45 Middlesex Road Tyngsboro, MA in your GPS or it’ll take you to their old location.

Owner Tommy Milward's dedication to craft and passion for brewing shine through at Modest Roots, Tyngsboro's inaugural taproom in the Merrimack Valley craft beer scene. The exceptional quality of their beer, notably the flagship IPA "Mob of Emus," rivals heavy hitters like Tree House, Spyglass, and Mighty Squirrel. Each sip reveals a perfect hop profile, rich flavor, and delightful mouthfeel.Beyond the standout IPA, Modest Roots boasts an impressive catalog, including favorites like the nitro-infused "Take A Chance" cream ale with vanilla and orange, reminiscent of childhood creamsicle memories. The diverse selection features creatively named brews like "Suzy Is A Headbanger" stout, "Road To Nowhere" pale ale, "Heart Of Glass" blonde ale (on tap at Tony C's!), and "Pandemonium of Parrots" west coast POG IPA.The Milward family's warm welcome and evident passion permeate every pint, and their positive response led to a taproom upgrade within just one year. Anticipate more treats like food trucks, expanded outdoor spaces, and new beers in the pipeline.Kudos to the Milward's and Modest Roots for elevating the craft beer experience in Tyngsboro. Here's to continued success in the years ahead!

Phenomenal local family run brewery. Nice space with indoor and outdoor seating and great for pets and kids. Nice variety of beers with some staples and others rotating in and out every couple of weeks. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

I've visited MRBC one time as of this writing. My experience was good overall. The environment was nice, and on par with the industry and perceived brand. A happening place when I visited on a Friday night. The staff were very friendly and attentive. One employee (I'd guess the owner) struck up conversation about the beer I had ordered. That was nice!Where I deduct points is for the beer. For context, I'm no stranger to the craft beer and micro brewery scene having tried 1700+ beers and being a beer enthusiast. The two beers I had were frankly disappointing. The saison was boozier than is typical for the style, and the IPA I had tasted somewhat similar to the saison (and I don't suspect cross contamination of my palate was to blame). Despite this, I am hopeful and expectant that my future visits to MRBC will be better. This place has certainly has potential to grow and improve with time. I'm *rooting* for them!

Great spot family run and operated. I'm fairly new to the area and live right down the road. I try to stop in after work Fridays when I can. Hours are limited but you can tell they have a devoted local following. Kid and dog friendly with rotating drafts and 4pks to go. 10/10 recommend

Small brewery in Tyngsboro. Beer is top notch.Venue not so much. A food truck would be nice. Bagged chips are available.

Best beer around. If you haven’t been here, you have to go. My favorites are the Nitro “Take A Chance” and the Hefeweizen.

Tommy the bartender is handsome, but the beer is better than he is good looking!
