I paid $12 for 2 of the worst tacos I have ever eaten. I've never had tacos pour out of a tortilla. Absolute wet slop. No cheese and barely any meat with a sprinkle of lettuce. It was basically watery sour cream and salsa juice. I say salsa juice because there was no actual substance. How do you screw up tacos and charge $12 for 2?

Great food and people. Totally worth your time and money, you'll keep coming back!
My recent first visit to lunch at Mendon Street Kitchen in downtown Uxbridge, Massachusetts was a delightful experience. We took our two grandchildren. The outside dining area has great atmosphere with umbrella tables and fun decorations that appeal to adults and children. Our grandchildren loved the grilled cheese with bacon sandwich. My lobster roll was delicious, and my wife enjoyed her BLT sandwich. I learned that Mendon Street Kitchen is a proud sponser of "First Night," a huge Christmas parade in downtown Uxbridge each December. Mendon Street Kitchen is a wonderful boutique eatery. My compliments to the owner chef.

Visiting in the area from RI. Took the dog hiking in Purgatory Chasm and we were looking for a place to have lunch where we might be able to have the dog. Stumbled on MSK and we will be making a point of returning. They welcomed us on the back patio with the dog (even brought her a bowl of water). Menu was relatively small, but the fresh and delicious food made up for it. Soup of the day when we visited was NE Clam chowder which was really good and full of clams. I had a chicken pot pie; fresh, homemade and very good. Tuesdays are taco days and we got a chicken tacos as well, which were solid! Staff were great (and funny). Prices were super reasonable, but we left a bit extra on the tip especially after finding out they operate as a non-profit and raise funds for the town Xmas Parade. Only open during the day, but highly recommend if in the area.
What a great place with friendly service. Delicious homestyle food and Dells Lemonade!. Outdoor seating .
Thank you Mendon Street Kitchen for taking care of my brother this week! 💕It is truly heartwarming there are kind people like you in this world. For those that never heard of Mendon Street Kitchen, they are a volunteer, non-profit business that serves lunch from their quaint shop in Uxbridge. It is a mother and daughter team. They have only a kitchen, diners eat in the back deck or take out. The proceeds from the kitchen go to support the Uxbridge Christmas festivities. My brother and I had lunch in the beautiful garden patio. (Fish tacos were amazing!!). My brother had just gotten out of his 7th hospital stay that year and since he lives a few houses away, they said if he is ever sick and not well, call them and they’ll take care of him. He wasn’t well the past few days, and hadn’t eaten in about 36 hours, I suggested he call Mendon Street Kitchen. They left a burger and some amazing homemade chowder hanging from his door, with a note that he can pay later. Please check this place out! Wonderful, caring people 💕 and AMAZING homemade lunches. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️. Danny sends many many thanks too. He says the chowder was amazing!
Such good, homestyle meals.
