I used to come here all the time as a kid with my grandparents, even now as a grown adult I bring my partner here. I've never had any issues with food or service, everything is subpar. I love the western omelet and the home fries, its cozy and friendly on the inside, the kinda place you can go to meet up with an old friend! Service is fast and waitresses are kind! This is the kinda place you could bring your whole family to.
I always leave good tips as you never know what people can go through as well

Truly the worst meal I've ever had in any restaurant in my 40 years of life. My mother and I left repulsed and I was ill just an hour after eating here. I very rarely leave bad reviews but honestly this was just too much.

We ordered coffees. Old, lukewarm, muddy. A bowl of creamers on the table, the creamers were curdled somehow (Im guessing old?) And the interior of the bowl itself had hair and fuzz stuck to the inside.

We waited quite awhile for the food but it was busy and a small place so we understood. What doesn't make sense is what they brought out to us...

My mother's French toast looked okay at first, but she quickly realized that it was just cold bread quickly cooked with some egg wash. Was cold when it arrived at the table and dry inside. Not remotely close to French toast in any capacity. The fruit cup she ordered was so dry and old it looked like it had been sitting in the sun all morning.

I ordered a soup and salad which seems easy enough, but it was anything but. I ordered clam chowder, which arrived thick, cold and gelatinous. I took a bite and it tasted so fishy and off that I almost vomited. The salad looked okay enough despite being very small for the price, but the croutons the waitress gave me tasted extremely off. Almost like musty plastic. I grabbed the packet they were in and noticed they EXPIRED APRIL 2022 (it's June 2025.) Absolutely disgusting.

At this point the waitress hadn't been over one time to check in, we were repulsed and just wanted to leave, when we waved the waitress down for the check we paid and immediately left. I regret not bringing these issues to the attention of the owner or waitress, but we were so shocked and didn't want to cause a scene with the other diners in the dining room.

I'm shocked by the food that was brought to our table. I truly hope that the owner looks into the quality of the food going out and does a better job with quality control in the future. Please don't serve spoiled and old food to customers.

The skillets are phenomenal, can’t say enough good things about the chef down there, 10/10 will be bad next time I’m in town

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but since I depend on them when choosing where to eat, I feel it's important to be honest. My croissant was dry, the egg was overcooked, and the sandwich overall was inedible. To make matters worse, my friend’s multigrain bread had visible mold, which we had to point out to the server. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience.

Quaint place. It's nice inside, and definitely, it is more like a farmhouse vibe. I wanted a keilbasa and bacon omlette with American cheese. The parts where the cheese had melted were quite good. Could have had a little more meat, but it was fine. The problem I noticed was that the omlette was WAY too thin. Making the egg oversized in area diminishes the area of the fillings. The thin egg also gets rubbery and inedible.

The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich my friend got he said it was spot on.

Waitress was nice and friendly and the banter was fun.

I gave it 3 stars because this is a basic concept people should have down. Bright, yellow, fluffy type omlettes should be the norm, not thin, rubbery, and inedible.

Just a few tweaks, and this could easily be 4-5 stars.

I am posting the before and after pictures of the omlette and all the egg that was left with NO filling involved and inedible.

Breakfast was good, but the hollandaise sauce was cold. Restaurant was not crowded, but the food did take a bit to arrive after ordering.

Went in today with my husband and the over all experience was suboptimal. The waitress was sweet and nice however the food and quality of the food was awful. The creamer in my coffee was Curdled not once but twice. After being served our food which was rubbery, okay at the best. We over heard the owner talking about how the food had all spoiled in their fridge and how the last of it “ had to go”. Very comforting to hear whilst you’re actively eating at their restaurant. Needless to say we will not be back.

My grandparents came up to visit from Oklahoma so we took them here for breakfast. After eating, my husband paid and left a 20% tip on the receipt. We walked outside after paying, and with a restaurant full of people, our waitress opened the door and yelled at us and said, “was my service not good enough for you?” We all turned around super confused. My husband went back inside and she said it to him again so he filled out another receipt and even though he had already left a 20% tip, he wrote it down again to keep the peace. I’m not sure if there was miscommunication between the person at the cash register and the waitress, but I don’t think we’ll ever be back considering how that waitress acted.

The food here is always good. My boyfriend took me here this morning for my birthday. I typically get something on the specials board and he usually gets "mom's special". I love that they are always consistent, I have never been disappointed ? staff is always friendly and there's plenty of off street parking. We always say to each other "mom's is better than dad's". I would say they do need to update their menus since they are a bit worn and they've made price adjustments that I noticed are penned in. There is A LOT to choose from which is nice to have options but I do feel slightly overwhelmed cuz I never know what to choose ?

Bathroom is filthy! Both the Mens room (husband experience) and women's.
The diner is outdated and didn't seem very clean, my utensils and coffee mug were dirty.
