Not the same as when the original owners were running things. Staff is far less friendly, food is more bland. We've ordered the same dishes and selections for over 10 years, and it's just not anything special anymore. There are multiple locations in Wakefield that have far better food and service.

Because we heard of this location via Phantom Gourmet, we decided to add it to our lists for breakfast places to go try. First time we left as the wait was too long and no place to park. We went a bit late. This time we had reservations (830A). We still waited which was not a bad wait. We got our food which was good but nothing to write home about. While I understand it was busy, we did not even get offered a second cup of coffee nor did the waitress check on us. We had to get her attention to put an additional order. First time going to a place with such great reputation that we've experienced this. We are very generous tippers (25-45% of the bill) as we understand the hard work the wait staff puts in. We gave just the 15%. Sadly we won't be going back nor will we be recommending the location. I'm sure it's busy enough on it's own. Bring a pillow for the chair if you want comfortable sitting. :( PS: the wait staff was nice but clearly not very attentive to the tables.

So it’s kind of been hit or miss for me over the last 10 years or so. I recommend not going to frequently. Issue is inconsistency with food quality. Have had upset stomach since eating there for about 12 hours. Staff are smug but above average for service delivery. If they did not work as a team it’s likely service would suffer. Give it a shot just space out the visits.

Blue Moon Grill has awesome food and kind staff. Big menu so there is something for everyone. Reasonably priced and good quality.

A nice place, with good food. It has a small number of tables, so the wait can be long. In the summer they have some outdoor seating, which despite being next to the road is very pleasant.

NOT IMPRESSED…Been meaning to try this place for a while as I am one town over. Got hash and eggs that came with only toast. Food was bland and with coffee cost me over 26.00. Very dissatisfied I will not be back !

I came here for breakfast on a Saturday with 2 other people around 10am or so, and we had a great breakfast. By the time we arrived the restaurant was already full, but we waited about 20-25 minutes and got a table. The service was great and the food came out impressively fast so we were very happy. The food was great and we all loved our meals.I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy, someone else ordered an Omelette, and someone else ordered the Pumpkin Pancakes (seasonal option) with a side of bacon. Everything was great. We learned that the best bet is to call ahead for a table so you can skip the wait-list, so we will do that in the future. The Blue Moon Grill is a simple but awesome restaurant with great food and service. I'd like to try lunch here sometime too.

Used call ahead to minimize the wait which helped as by the time we got there it would have been 1/2 hour. The team service approach is incredibly well executed from coffee not being empty long, to having our food quickly despite them being packed.I indulged choosing the chocolate chip cookie dough pancakes and they were delicious, light and fluffy. Surpassed my expectations by a lot.Looking forward to coming back

Tried many breakfast places in the area and this is the one we always come back to. It's usually pretty busy but they turn tables quickly. Huge menu with pretty much every breakfast option you could want. Nice that they serve alcohol too - bloody Marys look good!
