Caffe Italia Reviews
Sorry to post this but just got home from this restaurant. Six adults. We all ordered different food. Server was fast and friendly until one person tasted her main dish and expressed disappointment. Waitress never offered an option or alternative. Instead she said “ What do you expect me to do if you don’t like it.” We were stunned because there was no attempt in her part to emphasize and offer an alternative. Instead she called the owner over who was worse! Took...read full review
A very nice experience. The food was delicious and the portions were plentiful. Can’t wait to come back!
Great Chef’s Antipasto, Friendly and Professional Staff… Lollipop Lamb Chops on a bed of greens a little pricey. $14.95 for 3 bite size. 5 would of been nice…
We will still go back and choose other selections…🍷

Caffe Italia has received positive reviews from multiple visitors. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious Italian dishes, including fresh hot rolls, fried calamari with tomato sauce, veal Oscar, braciole, and the standout shortrib. The calamari is a standout, and the braciole special is highly recommended. Prices are reasonable, and the food is said to be great value. Service is described as good and welcoming, with the owner often watching over the operation. The ambiance is cozy and reminiscent of a North End Italian eatery. It is recommended to make a reservation as the restaurant is popular and fills up quickly.
Every dish looks delicious, and the chef has a secret hack for the soft, creamy risotto that pairs perfectly with veggies. The stuffed veal chop with fig reduction and Enzo's Sunday Dinner (fusilli, meatball, sausage, braciola) are favorites. The pizza is a hit with kids, and the authentic Italian flavors shine in dishes like the chic/ziti broccoli and salmon entrees.
Desserts like creme brulee, tiramisu, and the crispy cannolo with creamy ricotta filling are must-tries. The cappuccino looks authentic, and the espresso martinis are a hit. Glasses of wine are generously poured.
Parking is available on the street or near the omelet shack in the evening. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with automatic assisted doors and sidewalk-level entry. Overall, Caffe Italia is a great choice for anyone looking for delicious Italian food in Wakefield.
