World class carbonara and a good pour of wine. What could be better.
Open the door to a cozy atmosphere, warm, welcoming owner/chefs Huberto and Gabriel, friendly servers Alondra, Aricelli, Josh, Kevin and 2 or 3 newer folks whose names I haven't mastered yet--age related, of course! The food is delicious and portions are GENEROUS! My favorites are Tagliatelle Bolognese, Shrimp Scampi, and Haddock Francesca or Francaise, I forget which. Desserts are also a delight, especially the Chocolate Souffle. Dinner and drinks at Ciao Amici is a delightful experience!
Honestly, this was SUCH a good meal. I’m here for a wedding and chose this place for dinner randomly from scrolling the options on Google and WOW what a pleasant surprise. The veal marsala with risotto goes crazy. Highly recommend!!!

Traveling from out of town and this was the best meal of our trip! Described as “life changing” and “incredible” by those traveling with me!
Traveling for a wedding and had dinner here. We were greeted and seated without a reservation. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We shared a Caesar salad and I had the veal parm and my wife had the chicken parm. The sauce was excellent as was the meal.
Delicious fresh pasta at very reasonable price. It is a gem and I will totally recommend it!

I grew up in an Italian American restaurant in New York, and as kids our parents every Tuesday, their only night off, took us out to dinner. We either ate Chinese food or Italian. We got to experience how other Italians made the dishes we liked.
Through the years though, I have grown disappointed with Italian American restaurants, especially in Central Pennsylvania, where I live. My husband is from South Africa, so he is not as discerning about Italian food as I am. To him it is still new and exotic.
When we were in the Boston area I. Our way to Maine, he recommended Ciao Amici, in large part because of the high ratings on Google. Still I was skeptical 🧐
Ah, but I was pleasantly surprised by innovated dishes and options not often seen on other menus.
The beet and mozzarella salad was superb. The pasta we each had was homemade with excellent seasoning.
Our server was friendly and knowledgeable.
Oh how I wished I lived closer; I would be a regular every Tuesday night!
