One of my favorite places on the North Shore! The muffins are absolutely amazing! The staff is always friendly and efficient and the ice coffee is delicious as well! Nothing beats their carrot cake muffin! Already looking forward to coming back soon!

The Gingerbread Construction company specializes in muffins, sweet loaf breads and gingerbread. They do serve a limited menu of drinks. I have a sweet tooth and love the carrot cake, pumpkin raisin and cranberry walnut muffins. The icing is very sweet. I recommend muffins without icing if you don't like sweets .

I have been going to the gingerbread construction company since they only had the one shop in Winchester and I have never had a complaint but this time i was extremely disappointed. My daughter and I stopped at the one in Wakefield after our walk around the lake i ordered a chocolate raspberry and she asked for a strawberry shortcake.....we took them home to have with our coffee. I couldn't believe it when I took my first bite ....the raspberries were frozen solid.....a half hour later my daughter called me to say her strawberries were frozen...i always thought you used fresh fruit if it was in season.....plus a heads up would of been nice that....oh hey we just made those and the fruit is probably not thawed yet.....very disappointed

Not enough great things can be said about the Gingerbread Construction House. The muffins are fantastic. Pumpkin is my favorite. But the shining stars are the muffin loaves. If you want to make sure you are always invited back to a friend's home.. shoe up with one of those. Thier gingerbread muffins / loaves are the fantastic and are always a crowd pleaser.
Unique spot for cookies, muffins, and various bakery items. They do a terrific job.
This is my first visit to their Wakefield location. The Winchester mass location is also excellent. Great service, high-quality bakery products easily accessible. Would highly recommend!

What can I say about Gingerbread Construction Co? There is absolutely nothing bad about this place... UNLESS they run out of your favorite muffin before you get there! I call it "My Happy Place." I bought one pumpkin muffin the last time I was there. Simply unheard of since I never walk out of the place without 6 of them!! The servers are always pleasant and are eager to assist people. The atmosphere is incredible. There are so many cute things to look at. There's coffee, smoothies, homemade cookies, muffins, loaves, and confections. Galore. Great place. Stop and smell the goodness!
