We found this place and the reviews were great and did they live up the their reviews! Drinks, service and the food was fabulous. My boyfriend got the fried chicken sandwich and he was so impressed with the quality of of the chicken & I got the drunken tips. The BBQ sauce was delish and the veggies were fresh!

Nice Irish Pub in Wakefield. They sometimes have live music which is a nice treat, I think on weekend/nights. Has been pretty lively the times I have gone, but not overwhelming. The food is excellent! Shepard's Pie is not something I would usually get at a restaurant but theirs was superb!! It's a smaller joint but they do a great job there. Some (very limited) parking right in front, but there is a lot right across the street that you will have better luck at. Definitely recommend checking it out if you have not been and/or want some Irish specialties or comfort food.

Our second time here was as great as the first. Sat at the bar, had drinks and appetizers. The potato wedges were amazing, also had the sweet chili chicken tenders. Lisa was the bartender/server, such a hard worker. She anticipated our needs. Will definitely go back.

I would say 3.5 stars rounded up because the food we ordered was great and the food we saw go by looked great too. We got there around 6 on Friday night and was pretty busy but we got seated right away. Our waitress came by quickly to get our drinks. We noticed every other table had corn bread, but we were never offered any and couldn't really ask for some because she never came back after dropping the drinks and taking our food orders. It looked good. Would have been nice to have been offered the same as everyone else. The food runner tried to drop food off that wasn't ours. When we shook our heads no, not for us she still almost put the food down and just kind of stood there. Luckily it was the table next to ours. Then she came back again with another order and just placed the food on the table on the other side of ours and walked away even when those people said it didn't look like their food. Another server came by, asked if it was ours and gave it to us even though the plates were at another table and touched by other people. After having worked in a restaurant myself, I know this is inappropriate to serve food already dropped at another table. However, we saw they didn't actually touch our food and we didn't want to wait another 25 minutes for fresh plates (not that this option was even offered to us.) Waitress came by before we even had a bite to ask how it was and we never saw her the rest of the night. Bill was dropped off and picked up by what seemed to be the manager. My burger was very good and I would get it again. My husband really enjoyed his fish and chips. We would definitely come back BUT there clearly needs to be more training on food delivery to tables as twice in one night dropping food at the wrong table isn't great. My husband would say 3 stars, but the food was that good.

Stopped in on a Friday night. Place was busy but was seated within 5 minutes close to the bar. Drink orders were taken immediately. Smithwicks was delicious on draft.Ordered the pretzel appetizer, and buffalo wings. Both came out within 15 minutes and were great. Also placed an order for a Reuben sandwich and fish tacos. Those came out in 15 minutes as well and were amazing. Only thing missing was the guacamole for the fish tacos.Great Irish pub with cozy atmosphere. Will be back to try out the rest of the menu!Parking: Not many parking spots on the street.

We just got back from a trip to Ireland & wanted more! Stopped in for the first time. The food was amazing, and I am still thinking about the Irish Whisky Gravy Chicken. Husband got the Fish n Chips, also good.We ordered the tenders as an app & they were nice and juicy, yet properly crisped. The hot honey sauce we ordered actually seemed more like Buffalo & unfortunately came with a blue cheese pairing. I wish we were given an option for ranch or to save sauce/a ramekin since (understandably) extra sauce is an extra cost.It took a long time to get our meal order in, the nice waitstaff had a lot of tables & while they stopped for a few seconds to get us another round of drinks, they turned away before we could even ask one word to put in food. So we weren't about to wait for a potential sauce switch. I've been in the service industry & mentioned we may have gotten someone else's, JIC, but were told the hot honey sauce is very similar. For those who are also curious, tastes like Buffalo with some sweetener & could easily be fooled! I do hope they can have even just 1 more support staff for when there's a rush- just to help when needed. We were pretty hungry and excited about all the menu options. The atmosphere gets low stars from me & is the reason for -1 overall star. I'm tempted to do -2 because it was so invasive to our experience. The music was so loud, it was as if the place turned into a nightclub after dinner service. We were next to an extremely boisterous table with 2 adults, clearly trying to compete with the music & it made it impossible for us to have a conversation of our own. This place is not friendly for all people with disabilities & not inclusive for people who are hard of hearing or D/deaf. Luckily one of us has full hearing.I look forward to trying this place again, do hope it is quieter. Even the waitress was complaining to a table nearby that the music was too loud. Maybe it's more tame at lunch. There's lots of dishes on the menu we hope to try, there's a great selection. If it's not lunch time, then we'll aim for takeout. Sure is something if a young adult says it's too loud ?Could be biased since we had just come from Ireland but the Guinness tasted different here- more dark, roasted, almost with a thicker coffee flavor. Had to switch to something else personally. Gotta hurry & try more Guinness elsewhere- maybe we're not getting the same quality as overseas!Parking: We struggled to find parking on a Thursday evening. Drove around the block twice. Found parking at a nearby restaurant that was closed (omelet house or something). There wasn't even an accessible parking space nearby available, which would be a problem for anyone truly needing it.However, this may be completely different on weekdays or slower nights!Wheelchair accessibility: May not accessible. Doorways don't seem wide enough. Crowded and tight corners, but maybe with advance notice, they could arrange the table by the door. Cannot 100% confirm this, but as an advocate, would recommend calling ahead. Food is worth the effort!

Pub style atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is good. Always something for everyone.Parking: Free public parking around the restaurant. Often space can be found in the public lot across the street. Sometimes you may have to circle around a couple times to find a spot.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu options. Would recommend for kids 5 and up. Does get kind of loud as people are talking so that may not be ideal for littler Kids.

A local pub befitting an Irish flair, features a menu loaded with tasty food such that you think you're over in another country with dark wood floors and walls and a blackboard with the dozen or so Irish drafts they feature hanging on the wall. While seating is small tables for 2 or 4, the bars stools are overwhelming with an invitation to sit on them and belly to the bar. The male and female bar keepers are very friendly and quick to greet you, knowing that you must have a powerful thirst that needs attention. lol. That's quickly solved with the vast variety of tap beers and a cold glass, or not, that suits the beer you choose. I prefer lighter beers, so I ordered a glass of ale suggested by the barkeep. Spot on!! Slipped a one page menu and pointed to the similar blackboard with the day's specials. Again, I tossed the choice to the barkeep on which was the best crowd pleaser. He chose a shepherds pie and said it would be a while as they are made to order. No problem! It arrived about 30 minutes later and I was into my second draft. Piping hot served on a wooden plate gave the feel that I was indeed in Ireland. It was good not great but perhaps I was expecting something more!?? I'll certainly be back soon though and try the mixed grill with mashed potato and greens. Check it out. I feel a four star rating is pretty close!! Erin go bragging!!! :)

Bartender shut us off after one drink and was ignorant and rude. Will never go back to this establishment ever again.Erica was extremely rude and arrogant. We had a 56.00 tab for 7 of us 5 of us were not drinking. I bumped into a chair with 5” heels on coming into the bar and she held that against us. Peeps go somewhere else!!!
