This hidden Gem is amazing. It's worth getting off the hwy and going the extra mile for. Small inside but plenty of seating.The food is the best authentic Italian food I've had in a long time. The price for quality and portion is absolutely amazing. The canoli was smaller than some other places, so I recommend getting 2 because you will want more. 100 times better than any I've personally driven to the north end for. Employees are so friendly and nice. I have issues with heartburn and red sauce but I don't when I eat here, not sure why or what they do but I'm thrilled because I could eat their sauce with a spoon, so good. Stuffed shells & meatballs & lasagna are made with high-quality cheeses and pasta, and it shows. You won't be disappointed.

Strange that the menu does not disclose there is ham in the fettuccine Alfredo. Not a common mix-in. When I called to speak with the resturant, they simply suggested I order it with no ham next time. No refund or replacement order offered. I suggested they update their menu to reflect ingredients/meat added to pasta dishes. Especially pasta dishes that are typically vegetarian unless added on by customer. Very disappointed with small portion size as well.

Ordered an antipasto. What I got was a handful of lettuce, two slices of tomato, a couple of slivers of red onion, and one olive. All topped with four slices of salami and provolone cheese, no ham no capicola or mortadella just laid on top, not rolled up and sliced. No pita bread either!!!!! Total disappointment! To top it off the people were rude!

I used to love this place. Their pizza and meatballs were absolutely amazing. They have since changed hands and the quality of their food has gone down. I used to think the food justified the prices but now I'm not so sure. The food is good but not for the price they are at.
The pizza is pretty good sauce to cheese ratio wise. There is a somewhat lack of flavor. Not completely bland, but something is missing. Ravioli with meatballs was very tasty, but way overpriced for 7-8 standard size ravioli and two mediocre sized meatballs. Restaurant is extremely clean and counter staff is nice and outgoing. Perfect for a lunch break. Will return.

Quality of food & service has really gone downhill since management changed a few years back. Used to be our go-to Italian spot, but we won't be going back. We order Morenas catering on a yearly basis & this year we didn't even have a chance to place the order because they were "too busy" and we were hung up on BY THE MANAGER. Or at least some bozo who said he's the manager. God forbid you put us on hold or offer to take down our number and call us back when its not quite as busy. Such a shame to see a Wakefield institution go down the drains like this.
Been going here for years and have always had a great experience, Manager was extremely rude over the phone and wouldn’t accept a catering order for 2 weeks out? Because it’s 3 pm on a friday and said i have to call back. He hung up on me and when I called back asking if i could speak to someone else he hung up on me again. Never giving this place my business again. I just can’t believe how RUDE the guy was and i find it really hard to believe he’s the manager. I know they changed management years back and this new guy is apparently a real jerk. What a shame

Ordered a pizza for takeout and picked it up myself.Would have been better if I had just tossed the food as soon as I carried it out the restaurant.Dough was so thin it became water logged. It was literally wet dough. The toppings were also water logged and did not set. It all slid off as soon as I put on my passenger seat.The cardboard was soaked as well and I had to clean my car.Vegetable toppings were under cooked.When trying to to pick up a slice, the dough was so soggy it was stuck to the card board. The slices that can be picked up could not hold the toppings, it just sloshed off. Nothing about it could be saved.I did not reach out to the restaurant. This pizza sacrilege cannot be repaired.
